Is there any relationship between yellow urine and gynecological inflammation in women?

Urine is the liquid produced by the human bladder and the body's excrement. By observing the urine, you can determine whether the body has any disease. If a woman's urine turns yellow, it may be due to urethritis or inflammation of the body. Women are also prone to yellow urine after having sex, which may be caused by gynecological inflammation and needs to be checked in time.

Is yellow urine a gynecological inflammation?

The normal color of urine is generally light yellow, but I believe many friends have found that their urine is often yellow or yellowish brown. This is yellow urine. Gynecologists explain that the reasons why women have yellow urine include not only the common reasons of drinking too little water and taking medicine, but may also be related to illness.

Some women experience yellow urine after having sex, and the urine has an unpleasant odor. This situation is sometimes caused by condoms, but in most cases, this yellow urine is generally caused by reproductive system diseases, with inflammation such as vaginitis being the most common. Therefore, if women find that their urine is yellow, it is best to be vigilant and see if they have gynecological diseases or other problems.

The "rainbow" world in urine

The color of urine is not constant. It will change with the amount of water you drink, different diets, or illness. If you are well hydrated, your urine will be light yellow; if you are a little dehydrated, your urine will be darker. The yellow color in urine mostly comes from aging blood cells. After undergoing a series of body metabolism, they will be broken down and finally reach the urethra as pigments and are eventually excreted from the body. The less water in the bladder, the darker the urine color, so the color of morning urine is generally darker.

Let's take a look at what problems urine color indicates

The color of normal urine may vary depending on drinking, sweating, and activity level, generally ranging from light yellow to dark amber. When the human body's metabolism is abnormal or suffers from a certain disease, the color of the urine will show special changes.

1. Yellowish-brown urine: common in obstructive jaundice, cirrhosis, hepatitis A, arsenic, chloroform and other poisoning.

2. Red urine: Urine that is red in color can be seen with the naked eye and is called macroscopic hematuria. Urine contains a large number of red blood cells. There are many causes of hematuria, the most common of which are inflammation of the urogenital system, stones and tumors. Such as various types of nephritis, renal tuberculosis, acute cystitis, urethritis, stones in the above-mentioned parts, malignant tumors, etc. Systemic diseases such as leukemia, scarlet fever, congestive heart failure, etc. also often cause hematuria.

3. Hemoglobinuria: refers to the presence of free hemoglobin in the urine. Since there are no red blood cells or only a small amount of red blood cells in the urine, the urine is clear and looks like red wine. It is common in malaria, favism, incompatible blood transfusion, hemolytic anemia, paroxysmal hemoglobinuria and intraperitoneal hemorrhage.

4. Dark red urine with blood: seen in bilirubinuria, often caused by hepatitis A.

5. Milky urine: also known as chyluria. This is caused by the inability to absorb chyle from the intestines, causing the chyle to reflux into the urine. There are congenital factors that cause chyluria, such as congenital lymphatic valve dysfunction; there are also secondary factors, such as common filariasis and purulent infection of the urinary system.
