Stages of mucinous breast cancer

Stages of mucinous breast cancer

Invasive breast cancer is a common type of breast cancer. The occurrence of this disease seriously threatens the lives of women. If it is not treated in time, it may cause serious harm. Therefore, women must treat invasive breast cancer early to avoid serious harm. So how many episodes will invasive breast cancer be divided into?

What we often call invasive breast cancer is due to the change in the morphological characteristics of tumor cells, which spread to other parts of the human body through the blood and lymph to damage normal tissues. Invasive breast cancer is the main type of breast cancer and also a serious one. Therefore, we must not be careless about the occurrence of invasive breast cancer and must cooperate with the doctor for examination and treatment in time.

Invasive breast cancer is divided into four stages. The first stage of invasive breast cancer is called early stage. The early tumor is less than two centimeters, with no lymph nodes or metastasis. Therefore, this stage is the easiest to cure, and the five-year survival rate after recovery is very high.

The second stage belongs to the late stage breast cancer. As long as the patient does not show metastasis, the lymph nodes will not move beyond the axilla of the affected limb, and the size of the tumor is less than five centimeters. This stage is called stage IIB.

The characteristic of stage III is that the number of lymph nodes has increased and the size of the tumor is uncertain, while the tumor has not yet metastasized. At this time, the most common treatment method is collaborative treatment, which can increase the probability of breast cancer recovery.

Stage IV, with the occurrence of breast cancer, no matter the size of the lump or the number of lymph nodes, the only distinguishing criterion is migration. If migration occurs, breast cancer is in stage IV, which is what we often call terminal breast cancer. At this time, treatment is very difficult.

The occurrence of invasive breast cancer seriously threatens women's life and safety. Therefore, in daily life, female friends must pay attention to the occurrence of this disease, actively do relevant prevention work, and protect their breast health. If breast symptoms occur, they should receive treatment as soon as possible to avoid worsening.

Mucinous breast carcinoma

Mucinous breast carcinoma can be divided into early, middle and late stages. It is a rare tumor primary to the breast. It usually grows slowly and is less likely to metastasize. Its recovery period is better than other types of breast cancer. The age of onset is mostly between 30 and 90 years old. It is more common in older patients and those after menopause, but there may be certain differences among groups in different regions.

Early stage adenocarcinoma only grows locally and can usually be treated with radical surgery or partial removal. Patients in the middle and late stages usually have metastasis of lymph nodes and require lymph node cleaning surgery. Terminal patients usually have metastasis to other internal organs or bone metastasis.
