What are the symptoms of retroflexed uterus?

What are the symptoms of retroflexed uterus?

Many women do not know and understand what retroflex uterus is. This disease is very uncommon. It is a condition in which the uterus bends toward the back, between the bladder and the rectum. There are many causes of this disease, and if the uterus is retroflexed, there will be many symptoms. However, many people do not know and understand it, so they do not pay attention to such symptoms. So what are the symptoms of retroflex uterus?

1. Actively correct the retroverted uterus. Insist on lying on your side, back, or kneeling 2-3 times a day, each time for half an hour, to give the uterus a chance to lean forward and flex. During menstruation, you should also lie prone once a day because the uterus is slightly softer, which helps it to tilt forward. If the retroverted uterus is more serious, you should often do the knee-chest position, that is, kneel perpendicular to the ground, and your waist should be bent downward instead of arched upward, for about 15 minutes each time.

2. During sexual intercourse, the woman should place a cushion or a small pillow of appropriate thickness under her buttocks to raise her buttocks so that the ejaculated semen can be concentrated on the posterior fornix of the vagina. The woman should continue to raise her buttocks and lie in bed for 20-30 minutes. At the same time, the woman should not urinate within half an hour after ejaculation to prevent the semen from flowing out, so that the cervix can fully contact with the semen, thereby increasing the probability of sperm entering the uterine cavity.

3. When having sex, the man should be in the back position while the woman should be kneeling on her stomach, which is also conducive to the storage of semen injected into the vagina in the vault.

Will wearing high heels cause retroverted uterus? In fact, retroverted uterus is not uncommon. Many people are born with retroverted uterus, while others develop retroverted uterus due to childbirth, inflammation, endometriosis, tumors, and injuries. High heels that are too high may aggravate an already retroflexed uterus, but they are not the culprit.

Women should pay special attention to the fact that a laceration of the broad ligament caused by a difficult delivery can cause a retroflexed uterus. If the postpartum confinement is not properly taken care of, especially heavy lifting and excessive abdominal pressure, it will cause poor recovery of the uterus and lead to a retroflexed uterus.

The normal position of the uterus is slightly bent forward. However, some healthy women often have a slightly retroflexed uterus. These slight retroflexions will naturally turn into forward flexions about 3 months after conception. However, sometimes, during the process of the uterus turning from retroflexion to anteflexion, the stimulation causes uterine contraction, which can lead to miscarriage. In some cases, the uterus is heavier and adhered to the abdominal wall. In this case, pregnancy is mostly impossible. Although there are cases of accidental pregnancy, miscarriage is the majority. If the miscarriage is caused by this reason, surgery is required to separate the uterus from the posterior abdominal wall to ensure fertility.

Pelvic inflammation and endometriosis cause uterine retroversion, which is caused by pelvic adhesions caused by the disease, with the uterus and the rectum at the back sticking together. For this kind of retroflexion, the cause must be removed in order to correct the position of the uterus.

The phenomenon of retroverted uterus can cause certain harm to women. If not treated properly, infertility may occur. For many unmarried women, if they suffer from infertility, the impact will be lifelong. Therefore, if you have retroverted uterus, you must seek treatment in time to avoid certain tumors and endometriosis. You should also have a physical examination during treatment.
