Stop scaring yourself! Some gynecological diseases are not a big deal at all

Many girls are scared when gynecological diseases are detected during physical examinations. They quickly ask around for what medicine to take and which doctor to see, and they cannot calm down for a while.

Some naive little girls saw advertisements on the street, heard about all kinds of miraculous treatment methods, and then followed people to small clinics to "get treated." Every time I meet such a naive girl, I really want to yell: It’s never too late to turn back! Experts say that some gynecological diseases do not require injections or medication, and excessive treatment will actually worsen the condition.

1. Breast hyperplasia

After a physical examination, eight out of ten girls have breast problems, especially the "frequent visitor" in the physical examination report - breast hyperplasia. Many girls rushed to ask their doctors whether breast hyperplasia would turn into cancer and what medicine they could take to "eliminate" the hyperplasia. In fact, most patients with breast hyperplasia do not need treatment at all. Experts point out that breast hyperplasia is a benign disease with no special treatment. Only a very small number of cases will develop into breast cancer. As long as you maintain a good attitude every day, eat less hormone-containing foods, and insist on exercising, you can effectively alleviate breast hyperplasia. It is understood that if a girl insists on breastfeeding after becoming a mother, it can also relieve breast hyperplasia!

2. Cervical erosion

The word "erosion" is extremely powerful. When I heard the word cervical erosion for the first time, a terrible picture came to my mind: "the cervix begins to slowly erode and stink, and then affects the entire uterus." In fact, this is just a big mistake in the history of medical terminology. The name "cervical erosion" has been cancelled internationally, and this term has also been cancelled in my country's gynecology textbooks. Its true identity is "cervical columnar epithelium ectopia", which is a normal physiological phenomenon.

Experts point out that most women with cervical erosion only have epithelial ectopia due to the influence of hormone levels. Once the hormone levels stabilize, the so-called "erosion" will improve. Many women are fooled by street advertisements and use so-called "physical therapy" to treat cervical erosion and cervicitis. If not handled properly, it may cause unnecessary infection, hurting both the wallet and the body. It's really a prank!

3. Uterine fibroids

The word "tumor" is too easily associated with cancer! In fact, this tumor is not the same as that tumor. Uterine fibroids are benign. Uterine fibroids are also a "common visitor" in gynecological examinations, and almost one-third of mothers will encounter them. Some small fibroids not only do not have any symptoms, but are even difficult to detect during gynecological examinations and are only discovered occasionally during B-ultrasound.

Experts point out that if the fibroids are relatively small, the patient has no obvious symptoms, and the fibroids have no signs of malignancy, regular follow-up observation is sufficient. However, if the diameter of a single uterine fibroid exceeds 5 cm, it is a relatively serious condition and it is best to perform surgical removal in a timely manner.
