How to choose topical medication for vaginitis

Due to its special location, near the urethra and anus, the vagina is very susceptible to contamination by urine and feces, which can lead to some diseases. In addition, the sexual openness in my country in recent years has led many women to engage in sexual life too early. The chance of developing vaginitis is increasing every year, and it is very harmful. Due to the fixed menstrual cycle every month, the treatment of vaginitis is greatly more difficult and it is very easy to relapse. How to choose topical medications for vaginitis?

Due to the influence of many factors such as environmental pollution, increased competitive pressure, accelerated work pace, changes in lifestyle and sexual openness, the incidence of gynecological diseases among Chinese women has increased significantly and is becoming younger, becoming a "killer" that threatens the health of Chinese women. In addition, various disinfectants, soaps, and shower gels are widely used. Because of their high alkaline ingredients, they can easily destroy the acidic environment of the female private parts, weaken the self-cleaning function of the private parts, and cause bacteria to breed and cause discomfort. Over time, happy life will be eroded by this unspeakable secret, and the freedom of the past can never be regained.

According to statistics, more than half of women who have sexual life suffer from gynecological inflammation to varying degrees. When inflammation is mild, women often choose to buy medications at retail pharmacies for treatment themselves for a variety of reasons. However, when they arrived at the drugstore, they found that there were too many drugs for vulva cleaning. Therefore, they often followed the instructions of the advertisements to buy them. As a result, some people felt more and more uncomfortable the more they used them, and their condition became lingering and could not be cured in the long run.

Faced with the numerous gynecological medications on the market, how can patients choose to achieve the goals of cleaning, prevention and treatment? This requires a clear understanding of the drug's mechanism of action and precautions.

In the treatment of gynecological genital tract inflammation, except for a few people who use some oral medications (such as antibiotics, metronidazole and various antifungal drugs), most people use topical medications. Topical medications are mainly divided into three categories: lotions, suppositories and effervescent tablets.

1. Lotion: It is divided into two categories: nursing and health care lotion and vaginal irrigation cleaning lotion.

The former include Avon care solution, Cleanse Yin, and Fuyinjie. It is mainly used for cleaning and care of the vulva. Its weak acidity can keep the female private parts in a weak acidic balance environment with a pH of 4 to 5, while enhancing its own defense capabilities. In addition, most health-care washes contain antibacterial and antimicrobial formulas.

2. Suppositories:

For example, Dakning suppository and Xiuzhen Xiaomi suppository are dosage forms that introduce drugs into the human body cavity and produce local or systemic effects through absorption by the mucous membrane in the cavity.

3. Effervescent tablets:

For example, the JIERYIN effervescent tablets and MICODIN vaginal effervescent tablets utilize the bubbles produced by the unique ingredients contained in the medicine to evenly distribute the effective ingredients of the medicine to the diseased area. The characteristics of these two types of gynecological topical drugs are that they can directly and quickly exert their therapeutic effects. They are often used to treat bacterial vaginitis, fungal vaginitis (mostly Candida albicans), and Trichomonas vaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis infection.
