What should I do if my vulva hurts during sex?

Many couples experience vaginal pain during sexual intercourse. Pain in the vulva during intercourse is partly caused by inflammation in women, and may also be due to phimosis or other reasons in men. Harmonious marital life means a harmonious and happy life on the one hand, and a harmonious sex life on the other. Therefore, when this happens, we must find the cause accurately and then solve the problem fundamentally.

There are many reasons for vulvar pain during intercourse, which may be caused by various diseases of the reproductive organs and urinary system, congenital malformations, etc. The more typical lesions are endometriotic nodules on the uterine fundus ligament close to the posterior fornix of the vagina, pelvic inflammation causes adhesion of peritoneal organs, and the penis hits the cervix during insertion, causing peritoneal vibration and pulling the organs to produce pain. Pain can occur when the vagina is not lubricated enough. Adhesions of female pelvic organ inflammation, local scars, cervicitis, endometritis, ovarian cysts or tumors, and vaginismus can all cause pain during intercourse. In the absence of organic lesions, pain during intercourse is mainly caused by insufficient vaginal lubrication, and there are two main reasons: one is insufficient preparation before intercourse, that is, insufficient flirting movements; the other is anxiety, tension, lack of concentration, and depression and unhappiness caused by work and life.

The main reasons for pain in the vulva during intercourse are:

1. Psychological factors: fear, tension, etc.

2. Endometriosis, vulvitis, vaginitis, cervicitis, vaginal swelling, adhesion, vaginospasm, urethral caruncle, pelvic tissue lesions, etc.

3. Inflammatory infection may be considered. It is possible that the inflammation of cervical erosion is transmitted through leucorrhea, etc., causing vaginal infection. Because gynecological inflammation can be caused by fungi, Trichomonas or other bacteria, it is best to go to a regular hospital for a thorough examination before prescribing the right medicine. During treatment, it is recommended that you try not to have sex and keep your private parts clean.

Vaginitis is the most common cause of pain in the vulva during intercourse. When the infection involves the urethra, symptoms such as urinary pain and urgency may occur. Common vaginitis includes bacterial vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, and senile vaginitis. Traditional gynecological washes, suppositories, etc. will only cause the acidity and alkalinity in the vagina to become unbalanced and the bacterial flora to become disordered, which will cause gynecological problems to become more and more serious.
