Is it easy to get pregnant if you have leucorrhea?

Many people think that when there is more leucorrhea, it means ovulation occurs, but this is not the case. When the amount of leucorrhea increases and the strings are longer, it may be the ovulation period, but it is not absolute. The increase in the amount of vaginal discharge is sometimes due to excessive moisture in the body. If you want to get pregnant, sometimes you can choose the right time based on the leucorrhea. When the leucorrhea is longer, the pregnancy rate is higher.

Is it easy to get pregnant if you have leucorrhea?

The more vaginal discharge you have, the easier it is to get pregnant. It helps sperm motility. Women experience transparent, five-colored, stringy leucorrhea during their ovulation period. This is because women's secretions increase during ovulation, and when they continue to flow out, they will appear stringy. The reason why the leucorrhea becomes stringy is that the cervical mucus secretion reaches a certain amount, preparing for ovulation. Therefore, generally speaking, ovulation will occur within 24 hours of the longest time when the leucorrhea becomes stringy.

Leucorrhea is stringy and usually occurs during the follicular growth period and ovulation period. The amount of mucus reaches its peak near ovulation, and after ovulation, it becomes white and thick, and the amount decreases significantly. Generally speaking, the day with the most, thinnest and strongest vaginal discharge is often the ovulation period. It is said that the length and toughness of the leucorrhea will reach its peak on the day of ovulation. The leucorrhea can generally be stretched to 4-15cm, and is not easy to break. It is clear, transparent, elastic, and egg white-like.

In addition to observing the leucorrhea stringiness to monitor ovulation, you can also use basal body temperature measurement and ovulation test strips to help you better determine the ovulation period. Generally speaking, the day with the lowest basal body temperature during the entire menstrual period is the ovulation period. If the ovulation test paper shows a strong positive, it means that ovulation is about to occur. Once it turns to a weak positive, it means that ovulation has occurred. The best time to have sex is when the value turns from strong to weak.

How does leucorrhea change during early pregnancy?

After pregnancy, the corpus luteum of the ovary secretes a large amount of estrogen and progesterone to maintain the implantation and development of the fertilized egg. After 12 weeks, the placenta is formed, which gradually replaces the corpus luteum and continues to synthesize large amounts of estrogen and progesterone. Therefore, the pregnant woman's body always maintains a high estrogen and progesterone state.

As a result, estrogen and progesterone-dependent cells undergo significant changes: the vulvar tissue becomes soft and moist, the vaginal epithelium thickens, the blood vessels become congested, the exudate and desquamated cells increase, the cervix becomes enlarged, soft and congested, and the glandular secretion becomes vigorous. The secretions of the cervical glands, vaginal exudate and exfoliated cells mix together to form leucorrhea, which will be continuously discharged from the body during pregnancy. However, if the amount of leucorrhea increases after pregnancy and is accompanied by vulvar itching and a special odor, you should go to the hospital for examination.

Early pregnancy is a very important stage in a woman's pregnancy. Problems that arise during this stage often cause some pregnancy symptoms to persist throughout the entire pregnancy period. Therefore, some problems that arise at this stage need to be handled with caution.

During early pregnancy, if a woman has darker vaginal discharge, an unpleasant odor, or vaginal itching, she should seek medical attention. If the amount of leucorrhea is just large but has no bad odor, does not cause itching, and has no special color (such as red, brown, or yellow-green), it is a normal sign of pregnancy and no special treatment is required.
