What can't the fetus do after getting rabies vaccine?

As we all know, the human body will experience many discomfort symptoms after receiving the rabies vaccine, such as fever, redness, swelling and pain in the local skin, itching, etc. Generally, these are normal phenomena and will disappear on their own after 1 to 2 days without causing any other harm to the human body. For babies, after getting the rabies vaccine, special attention should be paid to their physical health, not letting them get sick, and ensuring adequate sleep and healthy eating.

The baby was given rabies vaccine after being accidentally bitten by an animal. So what should we pay attention to after the rabies vaccine?

Rabies vaccine is a cell-based rabies vaccine and a refined hamster kidney cell rabies vaccine, both of which are slightly turbid white liquids. After long storage, they form a precipitate that can be shaken off and contain thimerosal as a preservative. The vaccine market research report mentioned that rabies vaccination targets can be divided into two types: one is post-bite prevention, and the other is non-bite prevention. Anyone who has suspected contact with the rabies virus, such as being bitten or scratched (even if it is a minor scratch) by an animal (including seemingly healthy animals), or having their skin or mucous membranes licked by an animal, must be vaccinated with this vaccine and must be aware of the precautions for getting the rabies vaccine.

During the vaccination period, care should be taken not to let the baby come into contact with alcohol, strong tea, coffee, etc.; also do not eat irritating foods, such as peppers, onions, garlic, etc.; at the same time, avoid cold, strenuous exercise or excessive fatigue to prevent colds.

After receiving the first dose of rabies vaccine, you should start to avoid certain foods, including alcohol, strong tea, chili peppers and other irritating foods. Of course, foods containing caffeine, such as chocolate, coffee, and cola are also on the list of foods to avoid. You can only enjoy your food 2 weeks after all vaccinations are completed.

After receiving the first dose of the vaccine, you should get enough rest and avoid participating in sports activities that require a lot of physical energy, such as football, to avoid excessive fatigue, catching a cold due to physical overdraft, and causing overreaction.

Getting a rabies vaccine is not a permanent cure. Usually, after all vaccines are injected, the rabies antibodies in the body are only effective for 6 months. Therefore, even if you have been vaccinated against rabies, if you are scratched or bitten by a cat or dog again after 6 months, in addition to washing the wound with soapy water in time, you should immediately go to the CDC to get a rabies vaccine.

Precautions for rabies vaccination

1. During the rabies vaccination period, it is forbidden to use corticosteroids, drink alcohol, drink strong tea, and eat irritating food;

2. Avoid excessive fatigue, catching a cold, and catching a cold to reduce the reaction;

3. Give vitamins and anti-infection drugs at the same time. To avoid immune interference, try not to receive other vaccines during the rabies vaccination period;

4. Stimulating food and drinks such as tobacco, alcohol, spicy food, strong tea, coffee, seafood, etc.

5. It is prohibited to use corticosteroids during rabies vaccination.

Vaccine market research shows that alcohol is proposed to avoid reactions to vaccine injections. Of course, it is also considered that alcohol may accelerate the speed of rabies virus nerve movement and shorten the incubation period. Therefore, it is advisable not to drink alcohol during the injection of rabies vaccine, and you should not drink alcohol excessively. Coffee and tea should be temporarily avoided. There is no dietary restriction on seafood when receiving this vaccine. In addition, about 15 days after completing the full course of vaccination, remember to go to the hospital for testing to see if anti-rabies antibodies have been produced.

It is okay to eat a small amount of chili peppers, but it is better not to eat them if possible. Just test positive for rabies antibodies when the time comes.

Immune preparations such as hormones, cyclophosphamide, and drugs such as chloroquine may reduce the immune effect of rabies vaccines and should be avoided at the same time.
