What are the symptoms of kidney yin deficiency in women?

If a woman suffers from kidney yin deficiency, it will be very harmful to her body. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, kidney yin deficiency means that the kidney's yin fluid and body fluid are insufficient. At this time, the bones will lose nutrition, which often leads to soreness and weakness in the waist and knees. For women, chloasma and dark circles are prone to occur, and it often causes irregular menstruation, which can cause the harm of rapid aging.

1. Chloasma will appear on the face:

Kidney yin is insufficient and cannot moisturize the skin. Butterfly-shaped pale yellow, yellowish brown or light black patches with clear boundaries often appear on the cheekbones, and are often accompanied by irregular menstruation.

2. Dark circles:

In TCM theory, black represents the kidneys, and dark circles under the eyes indicate kidney deficiency. Not only kidney deficiency, but also many other organs are diseased, which will affect the normal functioning of the kidneys over time. Physical weakness will lead to spleen deficiency, which will slowly form dark circles under the eyes.

3. Irregular menstruation:

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that only when the kidney qi is abundant can the qi and blood be balanced. The menstrual cycle can only function normally when the Chong and Ren meridians are functioning properly, so insufficient kidney qi is an important cause of irregular menstruation. Kidney deficiency is often accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness, physical weakness, weak waist and legs, and lower abdominal distension and pain.

4. Low back pain:

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "the waist is the home of the kidneys" and kidney deficiency can manifest as low back pain, which is characterized by dull pain after fatigue.

5. Poor hair growth

Easy to fall off, a symptom of kidney yin deficiency. Other symptoms of kidney yin deficiency include red complexion, dizziness, tinnitus, loose teeth and hair loss, decreased menstruation or amenorrhea, insomnia and forgetfulness, dry mouth and throat, irritability, sweating, and weight loss.
