What causes breast pain?

Many girls do not pay enough attention to breast health, so sometimes breast diseases are not discovered in time. There are several reasons for the tingling sensation in the breasts, such as physiological breast hyperplasia, breast cancer, breast pain caused by pregnancy, etc. If you cannot judge it yourself, it is best to go to a regular hospital for examination.

1. Physiological breast hyperplasia

If chest pain occurs before menstruation, most of the time it is caused by physiological breast hyperplasia.

The main clinical manifestations are:

1. Breast pain: It often manifests as distension or stabbing pain, usually occurring in one breast, but in a few patients it occurs in both breasts.

2. Breast lumps: Breast lumps can occur on one side or both sides, and can appear single or multiple. The shapes of the lumps can be flake-like, nodular, cord-like, granular, etc.

2. Pregnancy causes chest pain

During pregnancy, a woman's body will experience a series of physical reactions due to changes in estrogen and progesterone.

During pregnancy, the breasts begin to develop, the nipples enlarge, the veins under the skin of the breasts become obvious, the color of the nipples and areolas deepens, the nipples become noticeably protruding, and even small nodules may appear around the breasts, causing swelling, pain, or tingling.

3. Breast cancer

Breast cancer patients may experience tingling in the chest, but this cannot be used as the only criterion for determining whether they have breast cancer.

A small number of early-stage breast cancer patients may feel a bean-sized lump that is hard and movable, and some may experience intermittent dull pain, or tingling.
