What is the normal thickness of the endometrium during ovulation?

A woman's endometrium will undergo some changes within a month. The endometrium will become thinner after menstruation. This is because the endometrium will be shed during menstruation. There is a certain difference in the thickness of the endometrium before and after menstruation. So what is the normal thickness of the endometrium during ovulation?

1. Generally, the thickness of the endometrium will change with the menstrual cycle. The normal thickness of the endometrium is generally between 5mm and 10mm. The ideal thickness of the endometrium during ovulation is 10mm-12mm, but as long as it reaches 8mm, you can prepare for pregnancy.

2. The thickness of the endometrium changes with the menstrual cycle, and its thickness is different at different times. The endometrium has different names at different times. During the ovarian cycle, when follicles develop and mature in the ovaries, the endometrium proliferates under the action of estrogen secreted by the ovaries, which is called proliferative endometrium. After ovulation, the progesterone and estrogen secreted by the corpus luteum of the ovaries cause the proliferative endometrium to secrete, which is called secretory endometrium. After the corpus luteum in the ovary degenerates, due to the decrease in the amount of estrogen and progesterone, the endometrium loses its support and becomes necrotic and flaky, which manifests as menstruation, that is, the menstrual endometrium. During menstruation, the functional layer of the endometrium is shed, leaving the basal layer.

3. The thickness of the endometrium changes continuously with the menstrual cycle. During the menstrual period, the functional layer of the endometrium falls off and the basal layer remains.

On the 15th to 28th day of menstruation, the endometrium is 5-7mm thick. The thickness of the adult endometrium is 7 to 8 cm. The thickness of the endometrium during ovulation is: 4-5cm wide and 2-3cm thick.

4. The thickness of the endometrium is different at different stages of the menstrual cycle. The normal endometrial thickness during ovulation is 7-8 mm, and increases to 10 mm after ovulation.
