What are the symptoms of low progesterone?

There is a normal value for progesterone in women's bodies. If the progesterone level is low, it will cause infertility. Even after pregnancy, it will have a certain impact on the fetus, causing miscarriage, premature birth and other adverse consequences. Therefore, when a woman does not get pregnant after several months of preparation, she can go to the hospital to check whether the progesterone level is too low. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of low progesterone.

Symptoms of low progesterone during pregnancy:

1. Low progesterone in women's bodies can cause ovulation bleeding during pregnancy. The main symptoms are that women will experience a small amount of bleeding between two menstrual periods. At the same time, patients will feel pain in the lower abdomen, and some women will also have abnormal body temperature.

2. Some women experience menstrual disorders due to low progesterone. Some women experience changes in their menstrual cycles, with periods lasting longer. For some women with more serious conditions, their menstrual period may be extended to about 10 days, but the amount of menstruation does not change much. For a period of time after the end of menstruation, there is still some brown secretions in the vagina, and there is a dull pain in the lower abdomen. This feeling is similar to bloating, as if there is gas in the stomach that cannot be discharged.

3. If a woman's flavonoid function is insufficient, the development of the follicles will be poor, resulting in a serious imbalance in the ratio of estrogen and progesterone secretion. At this time, women's menstrual cycle becomes shorter and menstruation becomes more frequent, which can easily lead to infertility or miscarriage. This situation usually occurs in the early stages of pregnancy.
