28 weeks of pregnancy, little fetal movement and little strength

Women usually look forward to the arrival of the baby very much after they become pregnant, and there will be fetal movements throughout the pregnancy. Generally, fetal movements will occur after 4 months of pregnancy, but this requires the expectant mother to be careful and attentive to feel it. Is it normal to feel less fetal movement and strength at 28 weeks of pregnancy?

Fetal movement refers to the body movement of the fetus. Pregnant women usually begin to actively feel fetal movement around 20 weeks of pregnancy. Fetal movement gradually intensifies as pregnancy progresses, reaching a peak at 32 to 34 weeks of pregnancy; after 38 weeks of pregnancy, fetal movement will gradually decrease as the fetus grows, amniotic fluid flow decreases, and the fetus's activity space decreases. The baby's fetal movement is generally more obvious at noon and evening, and each movement lasts 20 to 40 minutes.

When you are 28 weeks pregnant, if you feel that the fetal movement is getting less and less, you can go to the hospital for a check-up of the fetal intrauterine condition. If the fetus is normal, there is no need to worry too much. Generally, after the baby's fetal movement, the condition will gradually become stronger. However, after full term, because the baby enters the pelvis, the space for movement will become less and less, so the baby's fetal movement will also decrease to a certain extent.

If you find that the baby's fetal movement is significantly less, you should do some checks in time, mainly because you are worried that the fetus will be short of oxygen. Generally, under normal circumstances, the baby's fetal movement will be more than 6 times in two hours. If it is less than 6 times in two hours, you need to supplement some CO2.

By checking the fetal movement, it can be clear whether the fetus is growing and developing normally. Therefore, expectant mothers should pay more attention to the fetal movement of the baby. Generally, after 28 weeks, you can count the fetal movements at a fixed time every day and develop such a habit. Pregnant women can find something to do for themselves, and they can also observe the baby's condition in time, which has better effects for expectant mothers and their fetuses.
