What are the symptoms of cervical erosion in the elderly

Cervical erosion is a common and frequently occurring disease among women. It generally occurs in middle-aged and elderly women, but mostly in middle-aged women. Elderly people also have a certain chance of developing cervical erosion, which has a great impact on their later life. There are three stages of development of cervical erosion, and the symptoms of each stage are different. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of cervical erosion in the elderly. For better treatment.

1. Symptoms of mild cervical erosion:

1. Pain: Pain symptoms are rare in mild cervical erosion, and symptoms include lumbar pain, pelvic pain, and dysmenorrhea. If mild cervical erosion spreads to the main ligament, sexual intercourse may cause pain and affect sexual life.

2. Abnormal leucorrhea: Increased leucorrhea is the main symptom of mild cervical erosion, and sometimes even the only symptom. Mild cervical erosion usually results in increased vaginal discharge, yellow color, stickiness and odor. Depending on the pathogens or causes of infection in women, the quality, quantity and color of leucorrhea may change and bleed.

2. Symptoms of moderate cervical erosion:

Usually there will be an increase in leucorrhea, which will become yellow, sticky and have an odor. When inflammation irritates the vulva, it will also cause itching. When the eroded surface becomes obviously congested, bright red or easy to bleed, there will be contact bleeding during sexual intercourse and irregular vaginal bleeding.

3. Symptoms of severe cervical erosion:

1. Changes in leucorrhea: In mild cervical erosion, the only symptom is an increase in leucorrhea. However, in severe cervical erosion, the symptoms will change. The leucorrhea will turn yellow and occasionally be accompanied by blood.

2. It can cause symptoms such as pelvic inflammatory disease: It can also cause a series of physical discomforts, such as abnormal dysmenorrhea, a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, frequent urination, and urgent urination, which will appear one after another after severe cervical erosion.

3. Vaginal bleeding: Irregular vaginal bleeding is also a major feature. For patients with severe cervical erosion, irregular vaginal bleeding often occurs, and this vaginal bleeding symptom is not normal menstruation. Sometimes, patients with severe cervical erosion experience more contact bleeding, such as bleeding during sexual intercourse.
