Does cervical hypertrophy need treatment?

Does cervical hypertrophy need treatment?

Cervical hypertrophy is caused by the inability of vaginal cervical secretions to be discharged, so the cervix bulges and looks larger. The normal diameter of a woman's cervix is more than two centimeters to four centimeters. The cervix of a woman who has not given birth will be smaller, and that of a woman who has given birth will be larger. This is all normal. As long as you don't feel any other discomfort, no treatment is needed.

1. Cervical hypertrophy is a chronic cervicitis caused by pathogens infecting the cervical mucosa. This usually does not require treatment.

2. If the leucorrhea test is normal and the cervical cytology test (TCT) is normal, then generally no treatment is required, there will be no adverse consequences, and it will not affect fertility. These are useful for inflammation but have no effect on cervical hypertrophy. For chronic inflammation, such as scars left after skin burns that cause local enlargement and deformation, there is no need to use medication. It is OK to use it externally during lactation. Vaginal medications during lactation are not absorbed locally or absorbed very little, and will not affect the baby.

3. Cervical hypertrophy is a type of chronic cervicitis. Inflammatory changes caused by pathogens infecting the cervical mucosa. The pathogens that cause this disease include mycoplasma, chlamydia, bacteria, and viruses. Simple hypertrophy will not affect pregnancy. Severe cervicitis can cause endometritis, salpingo-oophoritis, fallopian tube adhesions and blockage, leading to infertility. Cervical hypertrophy generally does not require treatment. If there is erosion, cervical erosion can be treated. Guidance: Change your underwear frequently, and wear loose underwear. Do not wear nylon or other non-cotton underwear. Pay attention to sexual health. If either man or woman suffers from athlete's foot, they should actively seek treatment. It is better to clean the vagina once a week to avoid bacterial imbalance and bacterial infection.
