What causes breast pain? Three major incentives to pay attention to!

Some female friends sometimes feel a tingling sensation in their breasts. Some reasons for this phenomenon are normal, while others are caused by hormonal imbalance or disease. If the pain persists for a long time, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a detailed examination.

1. Breast pain during puberty

It usually occurs between the ages of 9 and 13. After menarche, the swelling and pain will disappear on their own.

2. Premenstrual breast pain

Many women experience breast fullness, hardness, and tenderness before menstruation. In severe cases, the breasts will swell and hurt with the slightest vibration or collision. This is caused by increased estrogen levels in the body before menstruation, breast hyperplasia, and edema of breast tissue. The above changes may disappear after menstruation. In fact, the common emotional changes to a certain extent before menstruation are a physiological change for most women, and they do not feel any pain. But for some women and their husbands with more serious mental and physical symptoms, its recurrence often becomes a distressing problem. These special symptoms are medically called "premenstrual tension disorder".

3. Breast pain during pregnancy

Some women experience breast pain around 40 days of pregnancy due to the placenta and villi secreting large amounts of estrogen, progesterone and prolactin, which causes the breasts to enlarge and cause pain. In severe cases, the pain may last throughout the pregnancy and does not require treatment. In early pregnancy, your breasts will increase in size and become firmer and heavier. There will be a feeling of fullness and tingling in the breasts. The small particles on the dark yellow areola around the nipple are particularly prominent. Women over 30 will feel uncomfortable after pregnancy, including breast pain, etc. Some small tips can make your pregnancy life more comfortable.
