What medicine should I take for menstrual migraine?

Women's bodies are always prone to problems during menstruation. After all, the body will lose a certain amount of blood, which results in them being very weak. Therefore, they need to rest for a while and eat more blood-enriching foods. Moreover, many women will experience various physical discomforts during their menstrual period. So, if a woman has a migraine attack again during her menstrual period, what should she do and what medicine should she take?

There are three types of Western medicine treatments:

1. Treatment during an attack: For mild migraine, give acetylsalicylic acid drugs, such as painkillers, indomethacin, etc.

If ergotamine is not effective, you can take 6 mg of Enminger subcutaneously. Pregnant women and those with severe cardiovascular, liver, and kidney diseases are prohibited from taking this medicine.

3. Preventive treatment: Oral administration of 10 mg of oryzanol for 3 times a day, or oral administration of 0.25 g of mefenamic acid (double the dosage for the first time).
