Symptoms of genital warts in women, female compatriots must know

Among many sexually transmitted diseases, genital warts are relatively common. This disease can occur in both men and women, but the symptoms are different in men and women. If it occurs in women, corresponding symptoms will appear in the vagina, cervix and other parts of the body.

1. Symptoms of female genital warts are mostly found in the labia majora and minora, vaginal opening, clitoris, vagina, cervix, perineum and perianal area; in a small number of patients, they may be found in areas other than the anus and genitals (such as the mouth, armpits, breasts, between the toes, etc.). The skin lesions initially appear as single or multiple scattered small pink papules with a soft texture and sharp tips. They gradually increase in number and size. The latter may be nipple-shaped, cauliflower-shaped, or cockscomb-shaped. The warts are often white, pink, or dirty gray, and the surface is prone to erosion, exudation, maceration, and ulceration, and may be accompanied by bleeding and infection. Most patients have no obvious symptoms, but a few may have a foreign body sensation, burning pain, itching, or discomfort during sexual intercourse.

2. Genital warts can cause harm to the human body in many ways. Some of them can directly damage the reproductive system, while others, although the local damage is not prominent, can cause serious systemic damage, significantly reducing the health of the body and even leading to death. Genital warts can also pose a serious threat to reproductive function. Even if some people become pregnant, it may cause miscarriage, stillbirth, premature birth, and the birth of children with congenital sexually transmitted diseases, seriously affecting the quality of the population. Therefore, we must resolutely refuse genital warts and keep ourselves clean.

3. Many female patients do not pay enough attention to the disease in the early stages of genital warts and do not take effective treatment methods in time, which leads to a series of structural injuries.
