What happens if ovulation cannot be detected? Gynecologists tell you the answer

People often test their ovulation time to help prepare for pregnancy, but some women cannot detect ovulation. According to gynecological experts, there are many reasons for this situation, which may be insufficient secretion of female hormones, or problems with the female's ovarian function, etc.

1. What happens if the ovulation test paper fails to detect ovulation?

The ovulation test strip cannot detect ovulation because simply using the ovulation test strip to detect ovulation is not very accurate. It is best to go to the hospital for B-ultrasound combined with ovulation test strips for the most scientific detection. Doctors can guide young men and women to have sex based on the occurrence of the ovulation cycle, which can greatly increase the chance of pregnancy. When using ovulation test strips to detect ovulation, you must actively take B-ultrasound to detect the occurrence of ovulation. Generally, you can start testing 8-10 days after menstruation. It is best to go to the hospital for B-ultrasound testing. The diameter of the egg is generally 20-24 mm to get pregnant. If the diameter of the follicle is less than 17 mm, you cannot get pregnant.

2. Generally, if ovulation cannot be detected during the ovulation period, further follicle monitoring is needed to see if there are mature follicles.

Suggestions: Generally, follicle monitoring is required 3-5 days after the end of menstruation, and the development of follicles should be checked every few days.

3. Three major factors of non-ovulation

1. Because the estrogen secretion in the female body cannot reach its peak, the ovaries are unable to ovulate, leading to female infertility.

2. If a woman's ovaries do not ovulate, the corpus luteum will not form, and progesterone will not be secreted normally. The endometrium will not form a secretory phase due to the proliferative phase. The uterine bleeding at this time is abnormal menstruation, and there will be no ovulation. Since the egg cannot be discharged normally, it will naturally lead to female infertility.

3. If the follicle wall of a woman gradually atrophies after ovulation, the granulosa cells will enlarge and lead to the formation of the corpus luteum. The function of the corpus luteum is to secrete progesterone, also known as estrogen. And 12 to 14 days after ovulation, the function of the corpus luteum begins to slowly atrophy, and it can no longer synthesize estrogen and progesterone, eventually causing female infertility.
