How to relieve menstrual stomach pain

How to relieve menstrual stomach pain

I believe many female friends have experienced lower abdominal pain during menstruation. In fact, abdominal pain during menstruation can be relieved. For example, applying a hot water bottle to the lower abdomen can speed up blood circulation and reduce pain.

Abdominal warmth: Place a heating pad or hot water bottle on your abdomen for several minutes at a time. Keeping your body warm will increase blood circulation and relax muscles, especially in the pelvic area, which can be spasmodic and congested.

Five-red Soup: Use brown sugar, wolfberry, peanuts, red dates, and red beans to cook together to make sugar water and drink it to replenish blood and activate blood circulation. As the saying goes, pain means obstruction, and you will feel much better once the blood is unblocked.

Bathing: Add 1 cup of sea salt and 1 cup of sodium bicarbonate to a warm water tub and soak for 20 minutes to help relax muscles and relieve menstrual cramps.

Crush a handful of Sichuan peppercorns, add to water and bring to a boil. Then put the Sichuan peppercorns into the pot and add some sliced ginger. Turn off the heat after it boils twice and drink a cup when the water temperature is suitable.

Moderate exercise: Walking or engaging in other moderate exercise before your period will make you more comfortable during your period.

Take painkillers: Taking aspirin can relieve menstrual cramps. When menstrual cramps begin, take it with a little milk or food to avoid upsetting your stomach, and continue taking it until the menstrual cramps disappear.

Rest in bed: During menstruation, especially when suffering from dysmenorrhea, you must pay attention to rest more, ensure adequate sleep time, and avoid strenuous exercise to avoid a decrease in your body's resistance and aggravation of dysmenorrhea.

Avoid junk foods that are too sweet or salty, as they can make you bloated and slow down. You should regularly eat some vegetables and fruits that have the effect of regulating qi and promoting blood circulation, such as shepherd's purse, coriander, carrots, oranges, ginger, etc. People who are weak and have insufficient qi and blood should eat foods that replenish qi, blood, liver and kidneys, such as chicken, duck, fish, eggs, milk, animal liver and kidneys, fish, beans, etc., and try to eat small meals frequently.
