Black blood clots during pregnancy

Black blood clots during pregnancy

When we first learned that the female member of the family was pregnant, I believe the parents were very happy. Some women have just become pregnant and found that they have bleeding with gray-black blood clots. Does this mean miscarriage?

Bleeding and gray-black blood clots occur soon after the early stages of pregnancy and are not diagnosed before pregnancy. This could be a sign of threatened miscarriage. The general symptom of threatened abortion is vaginal bleeding during pregnancy. Depending on the amount of blood and the length of time it stays in the vagina, the blood may appear red, dark red, or light pink. Some women may also experience abdominal discomfort such as pain and soreness.

If bleeding occurs during pregnancy, it is recommended to go to the hospital immediately for further investigation. The doctor will recommend whether to carry out pregnancy preservation treatment based on the woman's specific situation. Generally, after a good rest and treatment, the bleeding stops and the test tube embryo is not affected, and the pregnancy can be continued.

During the period when the woman is receiving treatment, family members should not only comfort the woman's mood, but also pay attention to managing their own mood. If the woman is overly anxious or has received too much negative emotions from the outside, her own mood will always be relatively depressed and irritable, and the normal progress of the fetal treatment will be affected, which is not conducive to the improvement of the threatened abortion condition.

What are the blood tests required during pregnancy?

1. HCG blood test

In order to detect the accuracy of pregnancy, doctors generally recommend blood tests for HCG pregnancy tests. Doctors usually extract 2-5 ml of blood and check the HCG value through "quantitative analysis" of the blood, which is more flexible and accurate than the usual "judgment" test of urine with early pregnancy test strips, and its accuracy is over 99%.

2. Routine blood test

It is mainly used to determine whether the expectant mother has anemia. Mild anemia will not cause much impact on the expectant mother and pregnant woman's delivery, but severe anemia may cause adverse effects such as premature birth and low birth weight. Generally, 2-5 ml of blood needs to be extracted.

3. Blood test

In the early stages of pregnancy, blood tests are usually done to check blood types. Doing this is helpful in preventing neonatal hemolytic disease in a timely manner. The second is to prepare for intravenous injection. Once a pregnant woman has miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, etc. in the early stages of pregnancy, it is possible to cause excessive blood loss during pregnancy and delivery.

4. TORCH inspection

The TOUCH test is what we often call the four viral tests, which mainly include rubella virus, rubella virus, toxoplasmosis and herpes simplex virus. It is best to carry out this test during the pregnancy preparation period. The normal result is negative. If the test is positive, you should be treated before getting pregnant.

5. Liver function test

This is mainly to check whether the pregnant mother has diseases such as hepatitis, because pregnancy will increase the pressure on the liver. If the pregnant mother's kidney function is abnormal, it will also affect the health of the fetus.
