Revealing the five main reasons why you get stomach pain when doing sit-ups!

Sit-ups are the fastest and most effective way for people to lose abdominal fat, but some women experience stomach pain after doing sit-ups. So what is going on?

1. Overloading of muscles

People who usually do not exercise or exercise very little, suddenly doing dozens of sit-ups will increase the load on the abdominal muscles, which can easily cause abdominal muscle strain and cause stomach pain. It is recommended to warm up before doing sit-ups to allow the muscles to move first. This condition may improve with regular exercise.

2. The result of lactic acid accumulation

If you exercise excessively, the lactic acid produced in the body cannot be completely broken down and accumulates in the body. The result of lactic acid accumulation is local muscle soreness. During sit-ups, the waist and abdomen are most used, so stomach pain is likely to occur. In this case, you can do relaxation exercises for more than 10 minutes after sit-ups to relax your muscles and avoid muscle soreness.

3. Doing sit-ups too fast

Some people do sit-ups too fast and vigorously, which over-exercises their muscles and causes muscle fatigue pain.

4. Doing sit-ups incorrectly

When doing sit-ups, the body tends to unconsciously lean to one side when sitting up, and incorrect posture can easily lead to muscle strain during exercise. Try to control the direction of your getting up and lying down.

5. Not stretching after sit-ups

Not stretching the abdomen after doing sit-ups can cause temporary muscle damage and stomach pain. You can temporarily stop doing sit-ups and wait for your muscles and nerves to recover. Then do sit-ups in a reasonable way.
