Seven major causes of uterine fibroids, women must read!

Uterine fibroids are one of the common gynecological diseases in women, and this disease can also cause many complications and cause serious harm to women's health. Therefore, female friends must be vigilant and do a good job of prevention and treatment. But what are the causes of uterine fibroids?

1. Unbalanced diet:

Women who mainly eat meat have a higher risk of developing uterine fibroids. Vitamins can reduce the sensitivity of the uterine muscle layer to estrogen and have a regulatory effect on the neuroendocrine system, especially vitamin C.

2. Sexual dysfunction affects uterine health:

Normal sexual stimulation between couples can promote the normal functioning of neuroendocrine system and enable the body to secrete hormones normally and well. However, long-term sexual imbalance can easily cause hormone secretion disorders, leading to chronic pelvic congestion and inducing uterine fibroids.

3. Oral contraceptives:

Women who take birth control pills at an early age have a relatively higher chance of developing uterine fibroids.

4. Premature menopause in childless women:

A woman has a limited number of primordial follicles in her lifetime, and ovulation occurs only once every 30 years. During pregnancy and lactation, due to the action of hormones, the ovaries stop ovulating and do not resume until the 4th to 6th month of lactation. As a result, the ovaries delay ovulation by a certain number of times, and women with a history of childbearing will enter menopause later. However, childless women cannot get timely and effective protection from progesterone and are prone to hormone-dependent diseases, uterine fibroids being one of them.

5. Unhealthy lifestyle:

Unhealthy lifestyles in women can lead to the occurrence of uterine fibroids, such as long-term smoking, drinking, and intake of high-fat foods. Some female friends who mainly eat meat have a higher chance of developing uterine fibroids.

6. Estrogen effects:

A large number of clinical observations and experimental results have shown that fibroids are a type of tumor that depends on estrogen for growth. Because it is common clinically in women of childbearing age, 30 to 50 years old, especially in a high estrogen environment, such as pregnancy, exogenous high estrogen, etc., the growth is obvious, while after menopause, the fibroids will gradually shrink. At the same time, patients with fibroids often have ovarian congestion, swelling, and excessive growth of the endometrium, revealing that this is related to excessive estrogen stimulation.

7. Fertility:

Premature childbirth, multiple childbirths, and continuous childbirths in a short period of time are also one of the main causes of uterine fibroids in women. In addition, estrogen levels will increase during pregnancy, and fibroids will grow rapidly, so women must pay attention.
