How to use female condoms to protect women's safety

When it comes to condoms, most people's first reaction is male condoms. In fact, women also have special condoms, and compared with male condoms, female condoms provide more comprehensive protection for women and have better contraceptive effects. So how should female condoms be used?

1. Female condoms

1: Female condoms (also called vaginal condoms) are sheath-like condoms made of polyurethane or latex. They are soft, transparent, strong and wear-resistant. The sleeve is 15 to 17 cm long, with one end closed in a bag shape and the other end open and fused to the outer ring. The outer ring is 7 cm in diameter, and the inner ring is free and 5 to 6 cm in diameter. The large ring is placed on the female labia to prevent the condom from slipping into the vagina during intercourse. The small ring is used to press against the cervix to fix the position of the condom. Put the condom into the vagina to collect male semen during sexual intercourse and prevent semen from flowing into the uterus, thus achieving the purpose of contraception.

2: How to use female condoms

1: If you are using a female condom for the first time, it is best to practice how to put it into your body first. The specific usage is as follows: First, choose a posture that you think is most comfortable: you can lie down, sit with your legs apart, or stand with one foot on a chair. Tear open the packaging bag along the cut and take out the sheath. The built-in elastic inner ring should be at the end of the sheath opening.

Then, use your thumb, index finger and middle finger to squeeze the lower half of the inner ring. This will help you grasp and narrow the inner ring and insert it smoothly into your body. At this time, use your other hands to separate the folded labia majora at the vaginal opening, and squeeze the inner ring as far into the vagina as possible. Then insert your finger into the sheath until it touches the inner ring, and then continue to push the inner ring into the vagina. The sheath is properly placed when the inner ring just passes over the pubic bone. Finally, you can insert your fingers into your vagina and feel for the pubic bone, which is just a few inches inside the vagina. In addition, it should be noted that a small part of the outer ring and sheath will still be exposed outside the vagina. This is normal and there is no need to worry.

Three: Advantages of female condoms

1: As a "flower protector" designed specifically for women, female condoms are used by women, so women can be more proactive in avoiding unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. According to relevant statistics from abroad, the failure rate of male condoms is 2% to 15%, while the failure rate of female condoms is only 2.6%.

Because the outer ring of the female condom covers the female vulva, on the one hand, it can reduce the chance of semen leakage after sexual intercourse, and on the other hand, it can prevent body fluid exchange to the greatest extent. Its disease prevention function is better than that of male condoms and provides more comprehensive protection. In addition to being safe in terms of contraception and disease prevention, female condoms have another outstanding advantage: they do not affect the pleasure of sexual intercourse.

The female condom can be inserted several hours before sex or used immediately. Unlike male condoms, it does not require an erect penis as an aid, making it easier to insert the condom without causing pauses or interruptions during sexual intercourse. This alleviates men's previous resistance to wearing condoms, and men will not be affected by wearing condoms while maintaining an erection.

Female condoms are made very thin and are coated with a lubricant that has no killing effect on sperm (with dimethylpolysiloxane as the main raw material). During intercourse, the male penis can move freely in the condom, and both sexual partners can achieve maximum sensitivity and thus get the greatest feeling of pleasure.

Four: Female condoms are large and cover

The covering area is also large, so it is not easy to slip or break during sexual intercourse. Therefore, the barrier function of condoms can be better exerted, and they can more effectively avoid conception and prevent sexually transmitted diseases, especially providing an extremely effective barrier for preventing AIDS.
