Women over 30 are very likely to develop this cancer

Women over 30 are more likely to develop various cancers, so women should take more precautions against the invasion of these cancers. So, what cancers are women over 30 more likely to develop? How to prevent it?

Cancers that women are prone to and preventive measures

1. Breast tumor. The age of onset of the disease is becoming younger and younger, with the incidence rate starting to increase from 20 to 25 years old and reaching a peak at 45 to 50 years old. Six types of women are relatively more likely to develop the disease: older women; women whose menarche began before the age of 12 and whose menopause ended after the age of 55; women who have only given birth to one child and who gave birth after the age of 35 or who have never given birth; women who have had breast cancer on one side or have undergone breast surgery; women who are obese after menopause; and women with a family history of breast cancer.

Prevention methods: These people are advised to pay attention to early screening, including color B-ultrasound and X-ray mammography, as well as monthly self-examination, to prevent cancer. It is recommended that women in their 30s have a check-up once every 1 to 2 years, and women over 40 are recommended to have a check-up once a year.

2. Uterine fibroids. It is common in women aged 30 to 50. According to statistics, about 20% of women over 30 years old suffer from uterine fibroids. If women often experience dysmenorrhea, pain in the lower abdomen, waist, back, sacrum, or increased menstrual flow, prolonged menstrual period, irregular vaginal bleeding, etc., they should seek medical attention in time. In addition, vaginal bleeding is the most common symptom of female reproductive tract cancer and is known as the "signal" of gynecological cancer. In addition to regular physical examinations, you should also pay attention to sexual hygiene to avoid multiple pregnancies, repeated miscarriages, abortions, etc.

3. Ovarian cancer. Symptoms of early-stage ovarian cancer are generally subtle, including abdominal distension, frequent urination, abdominal pain, recurrence of menopause, loss of appetite, rectal bleeding, and flatulence.

Prevention methods: If a woman has the above symptoms and they have lasted for more than two weeks, it is best to go to the hospital for corresponding screening, including tumor markers, ultrasound examination, color Doppler blood flow imaging, etc., so as to diagnose and treat them early. In addition, it is best to avoid high-fat, high-protein, high-calorie diets.

4. Gastric cancer. More and more young and middle-aged people are suffering from gastric cancer due to their love of smoked, high-salt, and spicy foods, as well as severe lack of sleep, irregular diet, and excessive work and psychological pressure. You should be alert if you experience upper abdominal discomfort, dull pain in the pit of your stomach, a feeling of fullness after eating, loss of appetite, weight loss, frequent vomiting of overnight food and gastric juice without bile, black tarry stools, etc.

Prevention method: It is recommended that patients with chronic atrophic gastritis, gastric ulcer, gastric polyps, pernicious anemia, patients after subtotal gastrectomy and those with a family history of gastric cancer should undergo gastroscopy once a year.

5. Colorectal cancer. There are 400,000 new cases of colorectal cancer in my country every year, many of whom are middle-aged people between 30 and 40 years old.

Prevention methods: It is recommended that people over 30 years old check their stool for occult blood once a year and have a colonoscopy every 5 years. If you experience changes in bowel habits, changes in stool characteristics, blood in the stool, mucus in the stool, etc., you should go to the hospital for screening in time. At the same time, eat more fruits, vegetables, fish and whole grains, quit smoking and limit alcohol, and exercise regularly to reduce the risk.
