What should pregnant women do if they catch a cold during confinement?

Colds are very common diseases. Girls sweat easily during the confinement period, and their resistance decreases after giving birth. They are busy taking care of their children, and they are tired both physically and mentally. It is more likely to catch a cold at this time. Since you need to breastfeed your baby during the confinement period, you should never take any medicine casually after catching a cold. Here are some ways to deal with a cold during the confinement period.

When your throat starts to itch and hurt at the beginning of a cold, immediately gargle and rinse your mouth and throat with concentrated salt water every 10 minutes. It will be effective after more than 10 times. Drinking chicken soup can relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion and runny nose during a cold, and it is also effective in clearing respiratory viruses. Drinking chicken soup regularly can enhance the body's natural resistance and prevent the occurrence of colds.

Use a metal spoon to warm it in boiling water (not to the extent that it does not burn your hands), then place it on the "cold-curing point" on the surface of your palm and massage. If there is any abnormality in any part, strengthen the massage there. After a short heat massage, stimulate the area with a spoon soaked in cold water. For those with mild colds or coughs, stimulate 5-10 times using the above method. The cold-treating point on the palm is located between the thumb and index finger of the left hand (near the base of the thumb) and on the palm surface below the second joint of the right thumb.

When you first catch a cold and start to feel itchy nose and throat, do the following exercises 2-3 times and you will be cured. The method is: stand upright with your feet slightly apart, straighten your neck, lift your head as high as possible, open your eyes wide, stick out your tongue as long as possible, straighten all ten fingers of both hands, and then exert force from the top of your head to your hands and toes until your whole body trembles and makes a continuous "ah" sound. Repeat 2-3 times.

Women are very weak during the confinement period, so they must actively prevent colds at this time. Pay attention to controlling the indoor temperature and ensure indoor ventilation. The indoor temperature is generally kept at around 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, and the humidity of the environment is best at around 50%. Avoid large temperature differences, and open windows for ventilation every day.
