What is the female vestibular ball?

The human body has wonderful changes and structures, and it is even more complicated for women. When we are having sex, we will find that the female vagina is tighter than usual, and the vulva will contract. This is also related to the congestion changes in the female reproductive organs after being stimulated during sex, especially the female vestibular bulb plays an important role. Let's take a look at what is going on with the female vestibular bulb?

It is equivalent to the male urethral bulb and is horseshoe-shaped. The ones located on both sides of the vagina are called vestibular bulbs. The outer side is about 3 cm long and 1 cm wide. Its rear end is blunt and rounded, connected to the Bartholin's gland; its front end is sharp and connected to the opposite one. The connected part is called the vestibular bulb. The middle part is between the clitoris and the urethra, and is tightly connected to the glans clitoris with the help of two thin bundles of erectile tissue. The vestibular bulb is mainly composed of a venous plexus. The veins are extremely tortuous and anastomose to form a cavernous structure, which has a certain erectile property. The vein of the vestibular bulb anastomoses with the clitoral vein, and the deep part of the vestibular bulb is connected to the fascia below the urethrogenital diaphragm.

Function

Because the surface is covered with cavernous muscle, when the muscle contracts, it compresses the vestibular bulb and shrinks the vaginal opening.

The vestibular bulb can sense psychological and local stimulation as well as the chain reaction caused by clitoral stimulation, causing it to become engorged and bulge. The vestibular bulbs are surrounded by the vaginal sphincter, a muscle that can be controlled consciously. During sexual intercourse, women can often control its contraction, thereby producing a "gripping" effect on the penis at the vaginal opening. Also called "Baththrin glands". The Bartholin's glands in the vulva and vagina secrete a viscous fluid. It may be related to the special smell of the female vulva.

Through the above introduction, we now know what the female vestibular bulb is. This is also a normal reaction during sexual intercourse. It is also a manifestation of normal female sexual function or reproductive organ function. It plays an important role in sexual life and can hold the male penis tightly during sexual intercourse.
