How can women avoid pregnancy without IUD?

The intrauterine device (IUD) is a common contraceptive method for women. However, due to human physical conditions, many people do not like to have it. But what other contraceptive methods are there? In normal life, a big reason why unmarried women show unhealthy behavior is due to the wrong choice of contraceptive method, so if they have regular sexual life, they should ensure good contraceptive measures.

Condoms can prevent semen from entering the vagina and prevent pregnancy. They have long been used as a contraceptive tool in my country, and the name of the condom also comes from this. Condoms can separate semen and vaginal secretions, preventing the body fluids of men and women from contacting each other during sexual intercourse, and are therefore also used to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. After the AIDS epidemic began, since there were no vaccines or effective medicines, countries where sexual freedom prevailed had no way to change people's unhealthy sexual behaviors for a while, so they had to vigorously promote the use of condoms to reduce the spread of AIDS. When condoms are used correctly, they can reduce the chance of being infected with HIV during high-risk sexual behaviors, but the failure rate is still quite high.

Short-acting oral contraceptives for women are contraceptives taken daily. Their advantages are the most satisfactory contraceptive effect (the failure rate of intrauterine devices is twice that of contraceptives) and fewer side effects. Current research also shows that oral contraceptives can prevent endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer without increasing the incidence of breast cancer. Its main disadvantage is the impact on the cardiovascular system, which may increase the incidence of cardiovascular disease, hyperlipidemia and thrombosis. In addition, daily use is troublesome and it is easy to miss doses, resulting in contraceptive failure.

There are many methods of female contraception, but different people should pay attention to choosing the contraceptive method that suits them. Especially for those who frequently change sexual partners, it is recommended to use condoms as much as possible, which can greatly reduce the probability of infectious diseases and other infectious diseases. For contraceptives, try not to take them frequently.
