What do women know about contraception?

In real life, there are many ways for women to use contraception, but the success rates of different contraceptive methods are different. So which contraceptive method causes the least harm to your body and has the highest success rate? In fact, various contraceptive methods currently have their own advantages. With the advancement of science and technology, the contraceptive rate has also greatly increased, so let’s talk about the precautions for contraception below.

Pay attention to the following matters after wearing the contraceptive ring

1) Avoid sexual intercourse during the period. Women who are on birth control should refrain from having sexual intercourse within three days before and two weeks after the placement of an intrauterine device.

2) Check regularly after the IUD is inserted. Women with intrauterine devices should go to the hospital for a checkup in the first, third and sixth months after the insertion of the device, and at least once a year thereafter.

3) Check whether the IUD has fallen off. Some people have heavy menstrual bleeding after having the IUD inserted, and the IUD may be washed away without knowing it. This is often accompanied by a feeling of heaviness and bloating in the lower abdomen. Therefore, during the menstrual period, you should carefully check whether there is any fallen contraceptive ring in the menstrual blood. If you find that the IUD placed in the uterus has fallen off, you can put it back in if there are no contraindications. If the vaginal discharge occurs repeatedly, other contraceptive measures should be used.

People with vaginitis should use condoms with caution because latex can aggravate the symptoms of vaginitis or cause vaginal allergies. It is best to use the safe period contraceptive method at this time. Sperm can be disinfected and sterilized, and has a certain therapeutic effect on chronic vaginitis. If your condition is mild, it is better to take birth control pills; if your condition is more serious and urgent, you should suspend sexual intercourse to avoid cross-infection to your lover.

Contraception is very important in normal family life, so if the role of contraception is ignored, once a woman has an unexpected pregnancy, artificial abortion will be very harmful to the woman. At present, artificial abortion is also a basic method to remedy contraceptive failure, so if you don’t want a child, you should still pay attention to contraceptive measures.
