How to treat female anal itching

How to treat female anal itching

When we eat very spicy food or do not take a shower or change clothes for a long time, our body will become itchy, especially when going to the toilet. There will be itching symptoms around the anus, which is very uncomfortable. I believe many friends have had this experience. It is very common. This severe perianal itching can also lead to various diseases and infections, especially for female friends with poor resistance. So how should this be treated?

Underwear should be comfortable. It is better to wear loose cotton underwear, and avoid wearing underwear that is uncomfortable or thick and rough. Underwear should not be too tight or too hard, and should be changed and washed frequently to provide a comfortable and clean environment for the anus and reduce infection.

Maintain anal hygiene. Wash it with warm water once every night if possible, and gently dry it with a soft tissue to keep the anus clean and dry. Towels and washbasins used for cleaning should be used by one person only to prevent cross infection. Avoid using strongly alkaline soaps to avoid damaging the skin around the anus.

Pay attention to a proper diet. Eat more fiber-rich vegetables and fruits, eat less or no irritating foods such as peppers, coffee, strong alcohol, etc. People with allergies should eat less foods that are prone to allergies and avoid contact with chemicals that cause allergies.

It affects work and study. Long-term anal itching makes it difficult to sit or lie down, which seriously affects work, study and other aspects of life.

Scratching the skin for anal itching can temporarily relieve the itching, but scratching the skin can cause bleeding, erosion, and stinging, which can make the itching and pain worse and more uncomfortable. The patient is extremely distressed, and over time it can cause neurasthenia, mental depression, loss of appetite, and insomnia.

If anal itching is not treated for a long time, it will spread to the scrotum or labia, especially in the front and back of the perineum, where it is the most severe. The itching is worse at night and aggravated by a humid environment. Sometimes it feels like insects crawling and ants walking, and sometimes it feels like mosquito bites and fire burning. It makes people unable to sleep, restless, and unbearable.

The first thing female friends should do when they suffer from perianal itching is not to be anxious, keep calm, and actively seek treatment. They should also take it seriously and not ignore it, thinking that the itching will go away if they endure it. They should change their underwear frequently, which is the most important thing, because female friends' private parts are more complicated and more prone to infection, so they must be kept clean.
