Is it necessary to supplement estrogen in time after menopause?

Many people are considering whether we should supplement estrogen during menopause. If you have low estrogen after menopause, you must supplement it in time, but if you are not lacking estrogen, you don’t need to supplement it. Not everyone needs to supplement estrogen after menopause. Some people blindly supplement themselves without examination, which is actually very harmful to the body. So, do you need to supplement estrogen after menopause?

Women before and after menopause often experience symptoms such as hot flashes, sweating, menstrual disorders, sleep disorders, urinary urgency, frequent urination, dizziness and osteoporosis, which will affect their daily life.

Clinical practice has confirmed that if such women take appropriate estrogen supplements under the guidance of a doctor, it can not only adjust the menstrual cycle before menopause, improve symptoms of vascular motility instability such as paroxysmal hot flashes and sweating, and urogenital tract symptoms such as aseptic urinary urgency, frequent urination, and vulvar burning, but also effectively prevent osteoporosis.

Women before and after menopause should choose a method that suits them to supplement estrogen based on their specific condition in order to achieve better therapeutic effects and avoid adverse drug reactions.

The following are three methods for women to supplement estrogen before and after menopause: 1. Oral estrogen and progesterone. If women before and after menopause experience symptoms such as hot flashes, excessive sweating, and menstrual disorders, they can improve their symptoms by taking oral estrogen and progesterone. The specific method is: take 1 tablet of Premarin daily, and take it continuously for 25 to 28 days as a course of treatment. On the 12th to 14th day of taking this medicine, start taking antacid tablets, 3 to 4 tablets per day.

After one course of medication, you should stop taking the medication for 3 to 7 days to wait for the onset of menstruation. Then, start taking the second course of medication on the 5th day of the next menstrual cycle.

During menopause, you need to check whether you have low estrogen. If estrogen is low, you must replenish yourself in time, but you must do a check first. Only if you have confirmed that you are indeed deficient can you supplement. If you are not deficient, then you do not need to supplement. If estrogen is low, remember to improve yourself emotionally.
