Hydatidiform mole is a common disease among women, and it can cause serious harm to physical health. A considerable number of female friends may suffer from hydatidiform mole again after having it for the first time. Generally speaking, the recurrence rate of hydatidiform mole is about 1/50, which is not low. It should also be noted that if a person has had hydatidiform mole twice, the risk of recurrence will increase further, with a recurrence rate of approximately 1/6. Given the high recurrence rate of hydatidiform mole, let’s take a look at the symptoms of hydatidiform mole. Vaginal bleeding after menopause is the most common symptom. Most patients experience irregular vaginal bleeding 2-4 months after menopause (average 12 weeks of pregnancy). The bleeding is intermittent and starts with a small amount, which gradually increases and often occurs repeatedly. This is because the detachment of the molar tissue from the decidua causes rupture of the mother's blood vessels. Sometimes the blister-like tissue can be discharged naturally. At this time, the bleeding is often torrent, but the abdominal pain is not very obvious. If bleeding lasts for a long time and is not treated in time, it may lead to anemia and secondary infection. The uterus is abnormally enlarged and softened due to villous edema and intrauterine blood. About 2/3 of patients with hydatidiform mole have a uterus that is larger than a normal uterus of the corresponding month of pregnancy and is extremely soft in texture. Since the enlarged uterine cavity is filled with proliferating trophoblastic cells, HCG is often significantly elevated. In 1/3 of patients, the size of the uterus matches the month of menopause. Only a few women have a uterus smaller than that in the month of menopause, which may be due to the degeneration of the blisters and the cessation of development. Luteinized ovarian cysts generally do not cause symptoms, but occasionally cause acute abdominal pain due to acute torsion. After the fetal mass is removed, the luteinized cyst will disappear on its own within 7-4 months as the HCG level decreases. This is an introduction to the symptoms of hydatidiform mole. There is currently no better way to prevent this disease. The main thing is to detect it early and treat it early to avoid the malignant transformation of hydatidiform mole as much as possible. Chemotherapy can be used to treat this disease, and the disease can be cured after chemotherapy. Generally speaking, if the grapes have not deteriorated within a year of being picked, then there is generally no risk of deterioration. |
