What kind of car film is good? Can dark car film pass the annual inspection?

On the one hand, the car film can protect the car body, and on the other hand, it also has certain benefits for the vision inside the car. For the sake of car love, car films must be of high quality, and some people like to apply dark-colored car films.

What kind of car film is good?

When buying car film, you should first look at the transmittance.

According to the regulations of our country, the visible light transmittance of the front windshield of the car should be greater than or equal to 70%, that is to say, the transmittance of the driver's field of vision must be high, otherwise it is easy to see the road conditions clearly. In addition to the front windshield, a small triangular window should be reserved for the driver to observe the rearview mirror. Except for these two glasses, the transmittance of other glasses can be 15~25%, which has a good sun protection effect and can also block ultraviolet rays.

As for the material of the car film, the most commonly used one is magnetron sputtering film. The price of the more high-end titanium nitride ceramic film is still high and not very popular. The advantage of magnetron sputtering film is that it will not fade, can adapt to various vehicle colors, and is not easy to delaminate, peel off and crack. More importantly, it can maintain constant visual color under different lighting conditions, thereby ensuring clear vision for people in the vehicle.

Finally, brands that are bought and used by more people can generally provide long-term and effective warranties.

Can dark car film pass annual inspection?

The two rear doors can be covered with black film, but the two front glass triangular windows, which are close to the exterior rearview mirrors, cannot be covered with black film.

If the color of the sunshade film is too dark, the visible light transmittance of the sunshade film should be greater than or equal to 70%. If it is too dark, it will seriously affect the light transmittance of the car window in dark places. You can't see the conditions outside the car on both sides from the rearview mirror, especially at night, rainy days or when reversing in the garage, which seriously affects the line of sight and affects driving safety.

Therefore, many vehicles will generally fail to pass the annual inspection if it is found that the solar film does not have a "triangle window" reserved during the annual inspection. They are required to make corrections before passing the annual inspection.

It is recommended to consult the local vehicle management office or local handling personnel to determine whether you can pass the annual inspection.

Can I apply film to a new car without license plate?

It can be clearly said that you must not apply it. You must wait until the cards are put on before applying the film.

According to the regulations, "the appearance cannot be changed at will", and applying a film is considered a change in appearance. When registering a license plate, you must take a photo, which is the photo in the driving license. The photo must be of the bare car, and nothing can be added, including luggage racks, pedals, rear wings, body stickers, front and rear bumpers, etc.
