How to prevent complications after breast augmentation surgery

Nowadays, more and more female friends are pursuing beauty, and breast augmentation has become very common. More and more people are undergoing breast augmentation surgery, hoping to have fuller breasts. Today, we are going to talk about how to prevent complications after breast augmentation surgery? I believe that all of our female friends don’t know about this problem, so how can we prevent it? Let’s take a closer look below.

After breast augmentation surgery, the patient may feel tired, the breasts may be a little swollen and very sensitive to touch. At the same time, since the breasts are enlarged after the artificial breast implant, the skin tissue will swell to adapt to the sudden expansion, and the patient will therefore feel some pressure. The above are all normal reactions.

The following methods are generally used for postoperative care of breast augmentation surgery: the patient adopts a semi-recumbent position and limits upper arm movement for 10-14 days to prevent the prosthesis from shifting. The drainage strip is removed 48 hours after the operation, and the wound and breast prosthesis position are checked. If the prosthesis is found to be displaced or asymmetrical, it should be adjusted with manipulation and then fixed with pressure dressing.

Because the cavity that accommodates the prosthesis is large and deep, while the incision is small, hemostasis in the cavity may not be thorough enough during the operation, so hematoma may occur after breast augmentation surgery. In addition to giving hemostatic drugs after surgery, nurses should closely observe patients for symptoms such as local swelling and pain, skin bruising, etc. If any abnormality is found, you should notify and assist the doctor in examining the wound. If necessary, surgery may be required to remove the hematoma and stop the bleeding completely.

After breast augmentation surgery, use antibiotics as prescribed by the doctor and pay attention to the wound. If a serious infection occurs, the prosthesis must be removed and another surgery must be performed.

The stitches will be removed 7 days after breast augmentation surgery. After the stitches are removed, the patient should wear tight clothing and is not allowed to wear a bra to prevent the prosthesis from deforming. Strenuous exercise is prohibited within 1 month after the surgery.

The above are some methods to prevent complications after breast augmentation surgery. Female friends who are interested in breast augmentation must pay attention to it, take the correct method to perform breast augmentation, participate in more simple exercises, maintain a good work and rest schedule, eat more healthy food, and pay attention to hygiene and avoid infection. Only in this way can the complications after breast augmentation surgery be correctly prevented.
