Dull abdominal pain during pregnancy

When the due date is approaching, many expectant mothers are anxious, worried that the baby will come suddenly when they are not ready. In fact, there are usually some signs before pregnancy and delivery, such as abdominal pain. So, what is the cause of the dull abdominal pain for more than ten days after delivery?

In the late pregnancy, if there is a dull pain in the abdomen, and if you are still more than ten days away from delivery, this is normal and may be false labor. Pregnant women should pay attention to rest more, observe changes in the abdomen, and feel some changes in the fetus, and go to the hospital for delivery in time. Before the due date, pregnant women can judge whether the birth is imminent based on the following symptoms.

1. The baby's fetal movement is significantly reduced. Don't feel anxious because of the decrease in fetal movement, because the fetal position has been fixed. If you don't feel the baby's fetal movement for 12 hours, you should go to the hospital for examination immediately.

2. Frequent pain will occur. False labor will begin at 28 weeks. If the pregnant woman maintains one posture for a long time, sitting or standing, she will feel intermittent muscle stiffness in the abdomen. This is false labor and is irregular. Before delivery, the fetal position below the uterus reduces the stretching stimulation and the uterus will contract very frequently.

3. Blood will appear in the female vagina, and sticky red vaginal discharge may occur, which may be a sign of pregnancy spotting. After spotting during pregnancy, you must go to the hospital for examination. Sometimes regular uterine contractions will occur one or two days after spotting during pregnancy.

Abdominal heaviness and heaviness, like menstrual cramps, may be a sign of impending labor. It is also possible that it is uterine contraction in the late pregnancy. In this case, it is best to go to the hospital for a fetal heart rate monitor to check the fetal heartbeat and uterine contraction. If there is a uterine contraction every 5-10 minutes and the duration is about 45 seconds, it is a sign of impending labor. In addition, it is necessary to check the fetal heartbeat and see if the fetus is in intrauterine distress. If there are no abnormalities, you can continue with the delivery until the mother's labor starts naturally.
