Chronic inflammation of endocervical mucosa

Chronic inflammation of endocervical mucosa

Women with weak physical constitution or who do not pay attention to hygiene are always prone to various infectious diseases. For example, vaginitis, uterine inflammation, cervicitis, etc. Chronic cervical mucosal inflammation is one of the gynecological diseases. Women need to seek treatment immediately after being diagnosed with this disease. So, is chronic inflammation of the cervical canal mucosa serious?

If chronic cervical mucosal inflammation is not treated in time, the adverse consequences will be very serious. Before treating chronic cervical mucosal inflammation, it is necessary to determine the cause or bacteria causing it, and then choose appropriate antibiotics for treatment. Patients should not have sex during the treatment of chronic cervical mucosal inflammation, and their spouses should also be treated at the same time to avoid cross infection.

In addition to oral medication, chronic cervical mucosal inflammation can also be treated with physical therapy, such as laser surgery, or cold storage and microwave heating infrared induction methods. Patients can choose the treatment method that suits them according to the degree of their actual condition.

To sum up, chronic inflammation of the cervical canal mucosa is still a serious disease and women need to pay great attention to it. During the treatment of chronic cervical mucosal inflammation, you should pay attention to a light diet, avoid greasy and irritating foods, and also be careful not to have sex and maintain lower body hygiene. After recovery, regular follow-up visits are required to prevent recurrence of the disease.

We understand the causes of uterine malformation from the following aspects:

1. Congenital absence of uterus

This is because the middle areas of the paramesonephric ducts on both sides have not developed and therefore cannot merge into a uterus. Patients often have no vagina, but the uterus and ovaries develop normally, so the secondary sexual characteristics are not affected.

2. Double uterus

The most common uterus is double cervix, and double vagina. It is caused by the failure of the two mesonephric ducts to merge.

3. Bicornuate uterus

This is because the tail of the paramesonephric duct has been mostly fused and the mediastinum has declined, resulting in a single cervix and a single vagina. The bottom of the uterus is not completely fused and the uterus is bicornuate in shape, hence the name bicornuate uterus or saddle-shaped uterus.

4. Uterine septum

The paramesonephric ducts on both sides have completely merged, but the mediastinum has not collapsed. The uterus is normal in appearance, and the cavity is divided into two parts. If the septum does not completely retract, incomplete uterine septum will occur. If the mediastinum widens into the vagina, vaginal septum may also occur.

5. Primordial uterus

Also called trace uterus. It is formed because the growth and development of the two mesonephric ducts stop shortly after they merge. This type of uterus is not large, only 1-3 cm long. Because there is no endometrium, there is no menstrual period, and most of them have no vagina.

6. Uterine hypoplasia

Also called the immature uterus. This is because the growth and development of the two mesonephric ducts stops shortly after they merge. The cervix is relatively long, the external os of the cervix is small, and the uterus is smaller than normal. Infertility, oligomenorrhea or irregular menstruation often occur.

7. Unicornuate uterus

One side of the mesonephric duct is fully developed, while the other side is incompletely developed or not disconnected. It can be a rudimentary horn of the uterus, which means there is only the uterine body but no cervical opening.
