How to use a comb to unclog breast ducts

When unblocking milk knots, comb from the armpit to the nipple, so that the knotted blood vessels can be unblocked. Use the reverse side of the comb to comb, and remember not to comb too much. It is best to apply some moisturizer before combing, otherwise the skin is prone to swelling and injury.

When combing the breasts, it will be more effective if you apply heat or wash with medicinal decoction first. For example, to treat poor milk supply, local swelling and pain, and the initial symptoms of mastitis, you can use 20 grams of white peony, 30 grams each of selfheal and dandelion, decocted in water for external washing and cold compress. Then support the breast with one hand, and use the other hand to comb slowly and gradually from the breast to the nipple. Comb for 10 to 15 minutes each time. While combing the breast, gently pinch the nipple several times to expand the milk duct in the nipple and make the milk secretion smooth.

Additional Materials:

After giving birth, if a pregnant woman does not let her baby suck immediately when her breasts are swollen at first, the breast milk will not be able to flow out when her breasts are swollen again.

The reasons are as follows: suppression of the human hypothalamus-pituitary gland will lead to a decrease in milk secretion; engorgement can cause mastitis, which leads to a decrease in breast milk. Secondly, there are more and more working women who get up early and go to bed late every day, and the baby does not suck enough, resulting in the mammary glands cannot secrete milk normally; some mothers have short and indented nipples, and because of nipple injuries caused by breastfeeding, they have to reduce the frequency of baby sucking, resulting in reduced appetite and insufficient milk, which is called milk knots.
