Causes of increased discharge in women

Causes of increased discharge in women

If women have excessive secretions, such symptoms will make many girls suspicious, wondering whether it is caused by diet. However, once the secretions increase, many people will not get better on their own. Such symptoms may be caused by some gynecological diseases, but it may also be due to other reasons. This is unclear. So what is the reason for the increase in female secretions? Let's take a look:

The shape of female vaginal discharge is a special signal of the health of the female reproductive system. Under normal circumstances, the shape and amount of vaginal discharge are different at different times of the menstrual cycle. If you find that your vaginal discharge increases, you should go to a professional gynecological hospital for examination and treatment in time to find out what is wrong with your body as soon as possible!

1. Non-infectious diseases: benign and malignant tumors of the cervix, uterus and ovaries, endocrine diseases, such as cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical cancer, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer, and diseases of the pituitary or hypothalamus. These diseases can also cause increased vaginal discharge.

2. Sexually transmitted diseases have some special manifestations depending on their pathogens. For example, those caused by Candida infection have increased leucorrhea, which is mostly in the form of bean curd, and a few are watery or purulent leucorrhea. There is a burning sensation in the vulva and vagina with severe itching. Candida can be found in direct microscopic examination of leucorrhea and fungal culture. Those caused by Trichomonas vaginalis infection have the main symptoms of increased leucorrhea, which is yellow-green, foamy, and smelly, vulvar itching, discomfort, sexual intercourse pain, urination pain, and lower abdominal discomfort. There are also a few patients who have no subjective symptoms. The condition often fluctuates. The symptoms worsen after the menstrual period, and then alleviate or even disappear. Laboratory examinations can find Trichomonas.

3. Non-sexually transmitted diseases are common, such as juvenile vulvovaginitis, which is more common in preschool girls. The vulva and vagina are affected at the same time. Parents or children report discomfort, itching, and increased purulent secretions of the vulva, sometimes accompanied by symptoms of urinary tract infection, such as urinary urgency and pain. The main symptoms of elderly vulvovaginitis are increased leucorrhea, which is yellow watery or purulent and has a foul odor. In severe cases, there may be bleeding.

These are various answers to the reasons for increased female secretions. I think everyone knows them. If we know why female secretions increase, then we can treat such symptoms more carefully. When secretions increase, we must wipe them clean with toilet paper. Otherwise, if the secretions are left behind, it is easy to get infected, which is very detrimental to the symptoms.
