What is the cause of leucorrhea with blood after menstruation?

Menstruation is a normal physiological cycle for every adult woman. However, as we age and engage in more sexual activities, problems of one kind or another will arise during each menstrual period, the most common of which is menstrual irregularity. There are many reasons for irregular menstruation, and everyone should deal with it according to their own physical condition. But what is the reason for leucorrhea with blood after menstruation?

There are two situations in which there is blood in leucorrhea: one is ovulation bleeding, and the other is bleeding caused by certain gynecological diseases.

You can rule out one of them first: calculate the ovulation period.

Ovulation bleeding occurs when the ovulation of the follicle causes fluctuations in hormone levels in the body, which leads to the shedding of the endometrium and causes bleeding. The amount is usually small and not easy to detect. In this case, a gynecological examination should be performed to rule out inflammation, endometrial lesions, tumors, etc. Generally, no treatment is required.

But one thing must be made clear: exclude gynecological diseases, such as cervical erosion, cervical polyps, acute cervicitis, etc. If there is nothing wrong with your body, you may not need treatment.

After menstruation, the leucorrhea contains blood, which is considered to be a small amount of residual menstrual blood. It may also be an infection, such as vaginitis, cervical erosion, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc.

Guidance:

Changes in the color of vaginal discharge should also attract attention. Generally, vaginal discharge caused by inflammation is mostly yellow; red discharge refers to vaginal discharge with blood or light pink color, which may occur in diseases such as cervicitis, vaginitis, IUD bleeding or cervical cancer.

Through the above introduction, I believe everyone knows that there are probably two main reasons for leucorrhea with blood after menstruation: the first is physiological bleeding, and there will still be a small amount of bleeding during the repair of the endometrium; the second may be pathological bleeding, which is caused by inflammation of the cervix and pelvis in women, and requires examination before treatment.
