How to deal with atrophic vulvar leukoplakia? Three ways to solve it

Women must pay attention to the health of their reproductive organs. Atrophic vulvar leukoplakia is one of them. It can make the skin of the female genitals dry and the labia will become atrophic, which has a great impact on sexual life. In this regard, we need to know what to do about atrophic vulvar leukoplakia? Various treatment methods can provide relief.

Female vulva atrophy usually has the following two factors:

1. Normal physiological atrophy. In middle-aged and elderly women after menopause, ovarian function declines, estrogen secretion levels decrease, and target organs atrophy accordingly. The vulva atrophy caused by this situation does not affect the morphology of the vulva.

2. Atrophic vulvar leukoplakia. The disease is caused by disorders in the subcutaneous microcirculation of the vulva and metabolic dysfunction, which lead to varying degrees of itching, thickening or thinning of the epidermal keratinization, dryness, atrophy and other symptoms in the vulvar skin, tissues and mucous membranes. The vulvar atrophy is not obvious in the early stage. If it is not treated in time and cared for, factors such as gynecological inflammation, birth trauma, and allergies will aggravate the symptoms of vulvar leukoplakia.

There are three general methods for treatment:

1. Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine: There are medicines in ancient Chinese medicine prescriptions that can treat and relieve vulvar leukoplakia, such as Yinbansan, which mainly has the effects of refreshing and fumigating private parts, clearing away heat, dampness and toxins, eliminating spots and relieving itching, nourishing yin and blood, and can relieve the pain caused by vulvar leukoplakia to a certain extent. This prescription takes effect quickly, and should be used for fumigation and recuperation every morning and evening. The key to cure is persistence. Once you stop using this medicine, there is a high risk of recurrence.

2. Drug treatment: suitable for those with milder symptoms. Local application of hormone drugs, local injection of anaerobic bacteria and traditional Chinese medicine treatment, etc.

3. Physical microwave therapy: pay attention to the use of equipment such as carbon dioxide laser, Bom light, high-frequency electric knife, or use local electrocautery therapy, liquid nitrogen local freezing therapy, etc. This treatment method is harmful to women's body. Scars are likely to form after treatment, and the disease is prone to recurrence after recovery.
