Moxibustion is actually one of the most common health-preserving methods in traditional Chinese medicine. It uses moxa leaves to stimulate the acupoints. Moxibustion can be used when the physiological system in the human body is in disorder. For example, when female friends have gynecological inflammation, the effect of moxibustion is very good. It will not leave any sequelae and can accurately treat their diseases. Commonly used moxibustion points for gynecological diseases Qihai, Guanyuan, Mingmen, Zhongji, Sanyinjiao, uterus, Guilai, and Baliao points. These acupoints cover almost all the acupoints commonly used for moxibustion in clinical practice for gynecological diseases. It is also an acupuncture point commonly used by Beijing Jiudaotang Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Institute in the clinical treatment of gynecological diseases. For specific diseases, please consult a local certified professional CETTIC moxibustion therapist for acupuncture point matching and prescription. 1. Treat dysmenorrhea Take 100 grams each of ginger and Evodia rutaecarpa, grind them into fine powder, and bottle them for later use. When using, take an appropriate amount of the medicine powder, mix it with vinegar or rice wine to make a thin paste, apply it to the Yongquan acupoint on the sole of the foot, cover it with a dressing, and secure it with adhesive tape. Change the dressing once a day and use it for 5 to 7 days. This method has the effects of dispelling cold, unblocking meridians and relieving pain. 2. Treat irregular menstruation Take 15 grams of mugwort, 15 grams of cinnamon twig, and 10 grams of pangolin. Grind the above medicines into fine powder, mix it with vinegar or rice wine to make a thin paste, and apply it to the Yongquan acupoints on the soles of both feet. Take once a day for 5 to 7 days. This method has the effect of warming the meridians, dispelling cold and dredging menstruation, and is suitable for the late menstrual period. 3. Treat amenorrhea Take 20 grams of Achyranthes bidentata, 12 grams of Angelica sinensis, 12 grams of Bupleurum chinense, 10 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 10 grams of White Peony Root, 10 grams of Poria cocos, 3 grams of Mint, and 10 grams of Trillium. Change the dressing once a day. 20 days constitutes a course of treatment. Use the medicine continuously for 3-5 courses until the menstruation comes. This method has the effects of soothing the liver, promoting qi circulation, activating blood circulation and unblocking collaterals. After reading this article, I believe everyone has an understanding of moxibustion for treating gynecological inflammation. This still needs to be judged based on some symptoms of inflammation. However, the acupoints often used to treat gynecological diseases are the uterus and the Guilai acupoint, so people should use moxibustion on these acupoints. |
