Pictures of secretions from cervical erosion

Cervical erosion is a gynecological disease and is also a disease that most married women suffer from to varying degrees. Cervical erosion can be divided into three types based on pathological level: mild, moderate and severe. The difference between these three types, as the secretions of female secretions, can be used to distinguish some disease levels. So what are the secretions of cervical erosion?

What are the secretions of cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion is a normal physiological phenomenon, so the secretion is milky white, odorless or with only a slight fishy smell. This is a normal physiological phenomenon. We should have a correct understanding of cervical erosion. It is not a disease, but just a condition. It is mainly caused by the relatively abundant estrogen secretion in the bodies of women of childbearing age, which causes the displacement of cervical columnar epithelial cells. The displaced cervical columnar epithelial cells cause red granular changes on the surface of the cervix. This is a normal condition and will not cause any symptoms clinically, so no treatment is required. However, if female secretions are yellow in color, have a strong odor, or are accompanied by vulvar itching, are excessive in volume, or have secretions in water samples, they are considered abnormal and the possibility of vaginitis, cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, or bilateral fallopian tube cancer should be ruled out clinically.

Can cervical erosion cause infertility?

In addition to causing symptoms such as excessive vaginal discharge, non-menstrual bleeding in the vagina, menstrual disorders, and lower abdominal pain, cervical erosion is more concerned about infertility. So does cervical erosion affect pregnancy? It can be said that there is a certain correlation between cervical erosion and infertility, but there is no definite logical relationship. Generally speaking, cervical erosion often affects pregnancy in the following situations:

1. The cervical secretions are excessive and contain a large number of white blood cells and bacteria, which damages the normal physiological environment in the vagina, restricts the sperm motility, and reduces the survival time;

2. The cervical mucosa proliferates due to inflammation, which can cause cysts to block the cervical opening and directly affect the perfect passage of male sperm;

3. The uterine mucus is viscous, which hinders the normal movement of sperm.
