Can pregnant women use sanitary napkins?

When a woman is pregnant, her hormone levels are constantly changing and her endocrine system increases significantly. It would be very inconvenient if she does not use sanitary pads at this time. But please note that although you can use sanitary pads occasionally after pregnancy, it is best not to use them for a long time. This is because many sanitary pads claim to be hygienic, but they cannot guarantee 100% hygiene. Once an infection occurs due to unhygienic sanitary pads, the consequences are disastrous.

Pads cannot be used every day. Although they are considered to be more hygienic, if you are not menstruating, it is best not to use pads frequently. Changing and washing underwear every day is the best way. Experts say that although sanitary pads are relatively thin, the poor air permeability of the gelatin on the surface of the pads will make the vulva cramped, thus becoming a breeding ground for viruses. Once vaginitis occurs, it may cause premature birth. If the vagina is in this environment for a long time, it will be difficult to heal and may worsen to pelvic inflammatory disease, which will also increase the risk of ectopic pregnancy and even infertility.

In order to prevent vaginitis, personal hygiene must be maintained and it is best to choose cotton underwear. It is best not to use a lotion that is too irritating or too alkaline when cleaning private parts; just choose a milder one.

It is generally recommended that pregnant women do not use sanitary pads, because pregnancy itself weakens the body's immunity and can protect against bacteria and diseases. During pregnancy, you should change your underwear frequently and wash it with clean water.

There is a lot of secretion during pregnancy. If you use sanitary pads at this time, it will feel stuffy. The expectant mother herself may also have thoughts like "unclean". Bacteria are more likely to breed after using sanitary pads. Expectant mothers with too much secretion should change their underwear frequently, pay attention to the cleanliness of their private parts, and clean their lower body every day.
