Leucorrhea suddenly turns brown

Leucorrhea suddenly turns brown

Normal leucorrhea should be colorless and odorless, but if you find that your leucorrhea suddenly turns brown and there are signs of bleeding, you may consider it an abnormal phenomenon. Brown leucorrhea may be a warning sign of vaginitis. Acute vaginitis is the most common. Vaginitis is an inflammation of the female reproductive organs. It may occur frequently at many ages, so women should pay attention to cleanliness and go to the hospital for examination and testing in time.

What is the matter with white and brown?

Experts say that common causes of coffee-colored leucorrhea without any odor include acute vaginitis, cervical erosion, and cervical polyps.

If the vaginal discharge is brown in color and has no odor, you should be alert to acute vaginitis. Vaginitis is the most common inflammation of the female reproductive organs and can occur at all ages. The clinical manifestations of acute vaginitis include increased vaginal discharge, frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. There are varying degrees of itching, burning, or pain in the vulva, and fever in the acute phase.

If the vaginal discharge is brown in color and has no odor, you should be alert to cervical erosion. Cervical erosion is one of the local characteristics of chronic cervicitis and is also the most common gynecological disease.

If women do not pay attention to sexual hygiene, they can directly bring bacteria into the vagina, infect the cervix, and cause cervical erosion. The clinical manifestations are often increased and sticky vaginal discharge, and occasionally purulent or bloody vaginal discharge may also appear. Low back pain, abdominal pain, and a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen are also often accompanied. Contact bleeding may also occur during sexual intercourse, and the appearance of odor is also very likely.

If the vaginal discharge is brown in color and has no odor, you should be alert to cervical polyps. Cervical polyps are more common in married women.

The clinical manifestations of women with cervical dysentery are a small amount of bright red spotting, or a small amount of bleeding after sexual intercourse, which is sometimes mistaken for "menstruation". The amount of bleeding in a few people may be similar to menstruation. Some patients may have yellow leucorrhea at ordinary times, most of them have an odor, or the leucorrhea contains blood, and it can also manifest as postmenopausal vaginal bleeding.
