What to do if pregnant women are prone to oral ulcers

After a woman becomes pregnant, her hormone levels change significantly, making her more susceptible to various oral diseases, especially oral ulcers. This phenomenon is not only related to the endocrine changes in pregnant women, but also to the changes in eating habits after pregnancy. Eating a lot of meat and fish every day makes oral ulcers more likely to occur. It can also cause swollen or bleeding gums. Here are some dietary treatments for oral ulcers in pregnant women.

Oral ulcers are the most common one. However, in order to avoid affecting the babies in their belly, expectant mothers dare not take medicine easily. However, if oral problems are not dealt with in a timely manner, they can cause considerable pain to expectant mothers.

Fungus therapy: Take 10 grams each of white fungus, black fungus and hawthorn, decoct them in water, drink the soup and eat the fungus, 1 to 2 times a day. Cabbage root therapy: Take 60 grams of cabbage root, 15 grams of garlic sprouts, and 10 dates, decoct in water and take 1 to 2 times a day. Apple therapy: Take an apple (pear is also fine), cut it into slices and put it in a container, add cold water (enough to cover the apple or pear to be cooked) and heat it until boiling. After it cools down a little, hold it in your mouth together with wine for a while before eating. Use it for a few days to cure the disease.

Bitter melon soup is also very effective. Sprinkle white sugar on the ulcer and let the saliva flow out freely. It is very painful, so the patient must persist. To relieve the pain, you can eat tomatoes mixed with sugar and then hold the sugar juice in your mouth for a while before drinking it.

If a pregnant woman's oral ulcers are caused by lack of blood, that is gestational anemia. If there is insufficient blood, the child will be prone to problems, and may even cause some diseases in the fetus. In this case, blood must be supplemented. You can go to the hospital to check your blood, get some blood-supplementing medicine with the help of a doctor, eat well and don't be picky about food.

After pregnancy, you should maintain a regular daily routine, not stay up late at night, and arrange your work and rest time reasonably. Also, you should pay attention to maintaining a good mood. A happy mood will prevent you from getting angry easily, which is beneficial to the healthy development of your baby. Although oral ulcers are painful after pregnancy, you should not stop eating because of the pain, otherwise you will easily suffer from malnutrition, which will further affect the development of the fetus.
