What to do about neck wrinkles during pregnancy

Normal people are prone to wrinkles on their necks due to dry skin, and for pregnant women, the wrinkles are even more obvious. Pregnant women at this time tend to have more wrinkles on their necks and corners of their eyes. These wrinkles make a pregnant woman's neck look darker (there are varying degrees of pigmentation in the neck), and she often looks more haggard. So what should pregnant women do about neck wrinkles?

Neck Care DIY

1. Replenish lost water

Choose some lotions containing moisturizing ingredients, such as seaweed, aloe vera, ginkgo, vitamin C, amino acids, urea, etc. During massage, you can also add a few drops of lavender, rose or incense essential oil to stimulate and activate cells.

2. Massage in the bath

After getting up every morning, wash your neck and chest with warm water; when bathing at night, gently use a bath sponge to make circles from bottom to top, and then massage lotion on your skin after washing.

3. Lie down and rest

Neck muscle tension will accelerate aging and increase wrinkles. The easiest way to relieve neck muscle tension is to lie down, because our head weighs about 6 kilograms, lying down can relieve the burden on the neck!

4. Cold and hot compresses

Use hot or cold compresses to relieve stiff neck muscles. If your neck and shoulders feel painful due to stiffness, it is recommended to apply cold compress. Put the crushed ice into a plastic bag and wrap it with a towel. If it feels too cold, take it away for a while and then apply it again. The total cold compress time should not exceed 20 minutes. If you want to relax your muscles, you have to use hot compresses in the same way as cold compresses.

5. Stretching

Cover your shoulders and back with a hot, wet towel, and then do the following stretching exercises: sit straight, relax your shoulders, and gently move your head half a circle to the right without going beyond your spine, and then do it in the opposite direction until your muscles are relaxed.

Warm reminder: Once wrinkles appear on the neck of a pregnant woman, she should not take any medications casually during pregnancy. Otherwise, the ingredients of the drug may be absorbed by the skin and easily cause miscarriage. Then you need to rest, and you can apply cold and hot compresses repeatedly and patiently.
