If there is a purulent infection, you can add Viola yedoensis, dandelion, honeysuckle, forsythia, etc. The treatment of subacute eczema is mainly based on strengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness, with the assistance of clearing heat. The prescription suitable is Wei Ling Decoction with modifications. The treatment of chronic eczema should focus on nourishing blood and dispelling wind, with the assistance of clearing heat and removing dampness. The prescription for this should be Yangxue Dingfeng Decoction.
