Is the safe period self-test table really accurate?

For women in today's society, life pressure is too great and the pace of life is fast, so many women will feel anxious. Some people experience irregular safe periods, which reminds us that there may be something wrong with our bodies, while for some people it may cause endocrine disorders. So in these cases, our safe period is not very accurate. So what should we know if we make a safe period self-test form? Let’s take a look at it next.

A woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. Starting from the first day of the next menstrual period, counting down 14 days or subtracting 14 days is the ovulation day. The ovulation day and the 5 days before and 4 days after the ovulation day are called the ovulation period. For example, a woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days, and the first day of this menstruation is December 2nd. Then the next menstruation will be on December 30th (December 2nd plus 28 days). Subtract 14 days from December 30th, and December 16th is the ovulation day. The ovulation day and the 5 days before and 4 days after it, that is, December 11-20, is the ovulation period. Except for the menstrual period and ovulation period, the rest of the time is the safe period. There is no need to use any contraceptive drugs or tools during sexual intercourse during the safe period.

Contraception during the rhythm period is unsafe. Extrapolation is often unreliable. The time of female ovulation is affected by factors such as the external environment, climate, her own mood, and health status, which may result in delayed or early ovulation, and extra ovulation may also occur. The failure rate of safe period contraception is about 20%. Generally, people with irregular menstrual cycles are not suitable for using the safe period method for contraception. There is no final conclusion on the longest survival time of sperm and eggs in the female reproductive tract, so the safe period cannot be calculated accurately. In some cases, such as irregular menstrual cycles, postpartum breastfeeding, etc., it is difficult to fix the ovulation time.

However, many women may have inaccurate menstrual periods due to work or life pressure. Therefore, in these cases, many safe periods may not be very accurate. Our safe period self-test form provides us with a reference only, so if two people want to be together, they must take safety measures to prevent women from getting pregnant. Reduce unnecessary trouble.
