What should I do if my menstrual bleeding doesn’t stop?

Menstruation is a normal physiological phenomenon unique to women. Of course, women may feel particularly uncomfortable during the menstrual period, and some women will be troubled by the pain caused by dysmenorrhea. However, compared to dysmenorrhea, there is another abnormal situation that can cause great trouble to women. For example, if you have continuous bleeding during menstruation, what should you do?

Excessive menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual period are called menorrhagia in medical terms. If your period lasts longer than seven days, if you pass large clots of blood during your period, or if you have heavy bleeding, you may have menorrhagia. Menstrual period (also called menstrual period). A woman's menstrual period lasts about 3-5 days, and 2-8 days is not uncommon. The general pattern of menstruation is that there is not much menstrual blood on the first day, but it increases on the second and third days, and then gradually decreases until the menstrual blood stops. This is because the endometrium just begins to shed on the first day, and on the second and third days the shedding of the endometrium increases, the amount of bleeding also increases, the uterus is stimulated, the contraction increases, and a large amount of menstrual blood is discharged. For some people, after their menstrual blood has stopped, it comes back a day or two later, which is called "menstrual bleeding returning". This is not a disease but a normal phenomenon.

However, some women's menstrual period lasts for 10 days or even 20 days, and their menstrual period is endless; some women's menstrual period is very short and it just passes in a flash. Both phenomena are abnormal. High pressure from work and study, irregular lifestyle, abortion, and taking birth control pills can all lead to disharmony of Qi and blood, causing endocrine disorders and menstrual cycle disorders. Irregular menstruation is considered an endocrine disorder by Western medicine.

TCM syndrome differentiation can be divided into deficiency syndrome and excess syndrome. The vast majority are caused by deficiency syndrome, which is often manifested by irregular menstruation, blood clots, scanty menstruation, cold hands and feet, hot flashes and sweating, etc. These are all typical cases of Qi and blood deficiency, cold stagnation and Qi stagnation. The usual symptoms are sallow or pale complexion, fear of cold and cold limbs during menstruation, preference for warmth and pressure, indigestion, etc. Deer fetus is a precious animal medicine. It is the placenta of a deer. It can replenish qi and blood, warm the meridians, dispel cold and dredge the collaterals. It maintains the uterus and restores ovarian function, avoiding the side effects of artificial cycles in Western medicine and the dependence on estrogen. It has a very good symptomatic and menstrual regulating effect on irregular menstruation caused by qi and blood stasis and deficiency-cold syndrome.

Normal menstruation is a sign of a woman's physical health. For women, if they want to stay young and prevent aging, they must ensure that their menstruation is normal. In addition to medication, women should also focus on regulating their mental state, maintaining a good attitude, doing some appropriate exercise every day, and be full of confidence in life.
