What does high leucorrhea cleanliness mean?

Discharge is the ship of the female body. The abnormality of discharge is a sign that the female body is ill. I believe that women who have undergone gynecological examinations have basically checked their discharge. The first item in the routine examination of leucorrhea is the cleanliness of leucorrhea. So what is the cleanliness of leucorrhea? What is the relationship between cleanliness of leucorrhea and discharge?

Abnormal leucorrhea and leucorrhea cleanliness

Abnormal leucorrhea refers to endocrine imbalance caused by inflammation of the reproductive system or some chronic diseases, resulting in abnormal changes in the amount, color, and viscosity of secretions. When a woman's secretions change in quantity, color, properties, smell, etc., and at the same time there are symptoms such as low back pain, abdominal pain, vulvar itching, etc., it means that abnormal leucorrhea has occurred.

Secretion is a transparent liquid that flows out of the vagina of women. Secretions are divided into physiological secretions and physiological secretions. The increase in physiological leucorrhea is caused by inflammation. The common objective secretions in clinical medicine are: colorless, transparent, viscous secretions; milky white or khaki foamy leucorrhea; fine watery secretions; brown leucorrhea, etc. The production of secretions is closely related to estrogen. When the metabolism of estrogen reaches its peak, there will be a lot of leucorrhea, the leucorrhea is transparent, and the secretions are sticky like egg white and can be made into flocs.

When women's discharge is thick, sticky, watery or dregs-like, it is mostly caused by fungal infection. For example, the discharge of chronic cervicitis and cervical erosion is mucopurulent. These symptoms are all symptoms that can cause female infertility. Therefore, abnormal leucorrhea may also be one of the causes of female infertility.

Under normal circumstances, the substances in the secretions include a small amount of secretions from the fallopian tubes and a small amount of secretions from the uterine wall, which are mainly secretions from the cervical canal and the transudate of the vaginal mucosa and the fallen vaginal squamous epithelial cells, as well as a large number of probiotic powder groups, that is, Lactobacillus; in addition, there are also a small amount of Bartholin's gland secretions, various bacterial microorganisms that account for a small proportion.

The cleanliness of leucorrhea is used to assess whether the female vaginal environment is normal. The woman's vagina is connected to the outside world and is not a sterile environment. There are about 20 kinds of microorganisms living in the normal vagina, including aerobic bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. They are interdependent and form a balanced relationship that is not easy to cause disease.

Among them, the most dominant one is called Lactobacillus, which is a Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Under normal physiological conditions, it accounts for 97% of all microbial species in the female vagina. It ferments glycogen under anaerobic conditions to produce a large number of lactic acid bacteria, which can maintain the acid-alkaline environment in the vagina, inhibit the growth of pathogens, and give full play to the "nitrogen cycle" in the vagina. If for some reason the Lactobacillus decreases and the proportion of beneficial bacteria in the female vagina changes, pathogens can easily take advantage of the situation and invade, causing vaginitis and vaginal diseases. At this time, the cleanliness of leucorrhea will be a problem.

Leucorrhea cleanliness level classification

The cleanliness of leucorrhea is divided into degree I, degree II, degree III, and degree IV, and the measurement is carried out under a microscope. Grade I: refers to the female vaginal bacteria dominated by lactobacillus, a large number of vaginal squamous epithelial cells can be seen, Gram-negative rods and other fungi are not seen, and under a high-power microscope, the number of pus balls does not exceed 5 in one field of view; Grade II: only part of the vaginal bacteria are lactobacillus, only part of the vaginal squamous epithelial cells can be seen, and under a high-power microscope, the number of pus balls does not exceed 5 but does not exceed 15 in one field of view; in the secretions of Grade II, the number of lactobacillus and vaginal squamous epithelial cells is greatly reduced compared with Grade I, and some pus balls and fungi can also be seen; Grade III: only a small amount of lactobacillus and vaginal squamous epithelial cells can be seen, on the contrary, the number of fungi is increased, and there are 15 to 30 pus balls in a low-power field of view; Grade IV: completely opposite to Grade I, lactobacillus and vaginal squamous epithelial cells are basically invisible, and fungi are all in sight, with more than 30 pus balls.

Therefore, the cleanliness of leucorrhea is worse the greater the degree of myopia. In clinical medicine, cleanliness levels I to II are normal; levels III to IV are abnormal, and in most cases are caused by infection. It is necessary to combine routine leucorrhea examination to check for Trichomonas, fungi or Gardnerella. Simple cleanliness improvement may also be nonspecific vaginitis.

The most common factors for the increase of vaginal pus balls or fungi in women, the decrease of Lactobacillus and the increase of other microbial species are infection factors. It is usually caused by sexual intercourse; the second is indirect infection, such as infection from toilets, sanitary napkins, swimming, pelvic inflammation, etc. The indirect infection caused in this way will always lead to poor leucorrhea cleanliness.
